My daughter loved being with her friends at daycare but the way ******* has gone about her protocols with Covid exposures is unethical. Being a childcare provider, it is their responsibility to put our childrens safety and well-being as their number one priority. That being said, ******* should be well aware of all possible symptoms of Covid. ******* sent a text at 5:44pm on September 20th stating that due to her health (didnt go into details), she needed to close for the next two days. On September 23rd, she sent a text at 5:30pm stating she had tested positive for Covid and would be closed the rest of the week. ******* admittedly stated that she started experiencing symptoms of Covid on September 12th. Being in the middle of a pandemic and knowing she runs a daycare with a huge possibility of potential exposures, she didnt think to take it upon herself to get tested as soon as she started experiencing symptoms? Let alone communicate with the parents of the symptoms she was experiencing, so we could make the decision to keep our children there or keep them home until she got tested. Upon asking ******* further questions about the symptoms she was experiencing, ******* said she finally went to urgent care on on Thursday, September 16th and they diagnosed her with a kidney infection. Yet, knowing she was having symptoms of Covid and is a daycare provider, still didnt bother to take the extra precaution to get tested for Covid! ******* was so quick to blame it on the doctors misdiagnosis, yet took zero accountability to take it upon herself to get tested. Regardless if she thought she had it or not, as soon as she started experiencing symptoms, she should have taken it upon herself to get tested but she didnt think about these kids, their health or their families. Instead, she exposed every single one of these kids and put their health and their families health at risk. I take precautions to make sure my family is healthy and safe. Whenever my child was sick or showing any symptoms of Covid, regardless if she had it or not, I made sure I kept her home to prevent exposure not only to the other kids and their families but also ******* and her family. Its extremely disappointing because we really liked ******* but the second my daughter and my families health is jeopardized and there is zero communication about the symptoms ******* was experiencing for over a week, thats when I have an issue. So, if you care about your childs health and well-being, along with your families, I would look for a different daycare that puts your child as a priority over money. Due to Lorettes negligence, my daughter, my parents and myself have all tested positive for Covid.
