Iplumb was dispatched through my home warranty company. I had two issues, one was fixed with no issues. The main issue, a leak under my kitchen sink, was not resolved. The home warranty company has been trying to get ahold of iplumb for 3 weeks. Iplumb will not answer the phone, return calls or emails that they have sent. Iplumb has failed to submit their report to the warranty company as they should have after the initial visit. The issue I am having should be covered under my warranty and iplumb says it it not, but will not submit documentation stating what is needing to be fixed--telling me it will be an additional cost to fix. I would NEVER use this company as they have been dishonest and unreliable.Review from HARD B

Was the plumbing company sent out by American Home Shield on an electric hot water heater - company told AHS that the water heater was "leaking" (it was not) - stated that they needed to replace the water lines (which did not need replacing) and the valve (I understood that a new valve would be smart) - wanted to charge $700 for that ABOVE AND BEYOND the home warranty replacement - replaced with a damaged unit (had multiple dents in it) and the unit was FAR FROM LEVEL (at an angle) - also left a good mess to clean up afterwards --- multiple messages left, and they won't return calls - I would not use them, and will drop my home warranty with American Home Shield due to the fact that they use a company as bad as this one!!!Review from Mark V

I would never use this company. they installed new 50 gallon water heater replacing my 80 gallon that was bad. they told me they needed to also put on a mixing valve that would give me additional 25 gallons. They did not install the mixing valve due to new ones being faulty. they Installed the new mixing valve a week later and told me that the hot water heater would be set at 140 and the mixing valve would produce 120 degree water. We did not have hot water. I tested it with my digital thermometer and it was coming out 105 degrees. Iplumbing would not remove the mixing valve and refused to help with any solution. Never Never use this company!!!We are out our money and now have to order a new water heater and pay a different plumber to installReview from Jaime D

IPLUMB LLC was assigned to a home warranty request I opened through my home warranty policy. ********* was assigned the call, he arrived within the time frame he provided. He fixed the issues I had with my plumbing. He is super friendly, courteous and very engaging.Review from Gail C

I have been a **** Estate Agent for over 30 years. I have lived in my home for almost 3 years. I had American Home Shield when they sent this company out. It was a simple repair, the diverter, and the shower head. Now I have reversed hot and cold. I called AHS and they sent the same plumber back and I was told it was not reversed, just run the water and it is because of the summer heat. Well, it is still reversed. I canceled the policy with American Home Shield after that. I called AHS and told them I wanted the hot and cold repaired as it was their fault. They said no because the policy was canceled - it was not their problem. I called and complained to American Home Shield until someone from the claims resolution **** called me and said they would send a different plumber from I plumb to look at my faucets, because it is their policy not to change the company, this was last week, and I am still waiting for a call. Look at their reviews,Iplumb LLC Response

I apologize for you having an issue with your faucets. But I can't find your name in our system, so I don't know what was done. Best of luck in resolving your issues. For the record I've been doing home warranty repair work for over 12 years. Done over ****** jobs. And we're always the first to get complaints and people bad mouth. We do our best to service every customer to the best our ability, while dealing with a home warranty and policy/procedure. We are not the bad guy. Sorry you had a rough experience.Review from Marcial T

Theyve been sent to my house twice through a American Home Shield both times they were tell me that repairs are not covered and they try to charge me $580 for the ************ and another $650 for the second repair these are two different Visits I had another plumber come out to look at the issue. Cost to repair was half the price to try to charge and I was told the repair that he was trying to do was not necessary. Also, the first thing they did was come in and say oh I need to send another company out here , because you have water damage, there was no water damage done to any of my walls. These guys are very shady. I would not trust them be cautious get a second opinion.Review from Gayle R

This person is angry and defensive when asked any questions about the way he does business. I called to simply ask questions about the way he wrote his invoice because as I cross checked his charges with other companies, I found that he was charging for things that should have come with the unit itself. I had people from two other companies. Tell me how shady this invoice looked. Of course I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and ask questions to understand the way it was written. While I was calm and rational, he became increasingly defensive and rude, so nothing could be solved. Think twice about using this company.Iplumb LLC Response

You're completely out of line for your comments. We simply explained that this was through the home warranty. We explained the retail cost and the home warranty was covering the majority of the cost. We offered you a discount on the non covered cost. I explained the "T&P modification" was for installing the drain line itself not the valve. It's people like you that don't understand the policy from their home warranty company and then get upset with the vendor that's actually trying to fix or solve the issue. And just because you didn't get your way or had unreal expectations we become the bad guy. It's completely unnecessary and so unfair. We are just the middle man doing our and we go a great job within that. We are not shady that's why everything was written in the invoice in black and white. We hope you get the help you need.Review from Daniel B

I requested a fix for 4 issues through my American Home Shield agreement. 2 corroded pipes, and 2 leaks (a shower valve actively leaking and faucet valve actively leaking). Despite the active leaks, iPlumb took several days to get to the property, and then said all items were not covered. They left the valves actively leaking! American Home Shield said the items should be covered. I have American Home Shield in CA for my primary residence and several leaks/corroded pipes have always been fixed and covered over the years. I have not had issues with other AHS requests in CA (with other plumbing companies). Do not trust iPlumb. Terrible service and unprofessional.Iplumb LLC Response

******, we apologize for your experience with using your home warranty. Please understand just because you have items on a work order doesn't incline them to be covered through the home warranty. Which also doesn't give you the right to complain and slander my company online, because you didn't get your way. Best of luck in the future.Review from Cathryn C

Hired through our home warranty AHS. We drained and removed the tank, had it at the street upon the technicians late arrival. It was installed and he left. Once it started to heat up, it never got hot enough to add cold water? We called over six time w/o a call back and their voice mail is full and cannot leave a message!! Went back to the warranty company and they sent iPlumb back out under a warranty. We were scheduled from **** then bumped to 1-4 (without notice by the way) we were in the garage heading out the door at 4:30 to pick up family at the airport and HAD to leave. The technician said he didn't know what we were talking about his route said between 2-6 I said I have it in writing the confirmed time and asked to be rescheduled for the next morning. 10AM I didn't hear back and called them and to say "lack of customer service" and we did get rescheduled for that afternoon. When the same technician came, he made false allegations on what was said. Never apologizes and complained on who was going to pay the service call fee since it wasn't his warranty! Now we are told to contact **** manufacture and deal with them since it's a defective tank. Both thermostats need to be replaced according to another plumber I hired to make sure what they did was safe. All the technician did was crank up the temperature to a high setting. Now it gets hot, however not constant! Simple fix and they chose not to exchange a defective tank they purchased from their supplier???Review from Arlene M

AHS assigned Iplumb LLC to our request for repair on a leaking pipe. We had to shut off the water because the break was running 6 gallons a minute. Emergency rate!! I received a call that they would come between 2-6 pm. I didn't hear from them again until 5:45 with a message they would show up in 30 minutes. In the meantime, we had our son leave his job to come meet them within the 30 minutes. The next contact with us was at 6:54 pm, nearly an hour late. Our son by then had found the leak, took a video of it, and had to turn the water off again and leave. The crew missed him and called me to find out how to talk to our son. We told them NO. They should have been on time. Here is the drama attached to this whole scene. The reason we had to have our son meet him is that my husband was in a 5 1/2 surgery, and because we had no water in the house, I had to take him to a hotel to recover. The next day, from the hotel, we contacted AHS again. They said we would get a call to confirm a rescheduled appointment. I received a text to inform me they would be by between 3-7 pm. Since my husband is disabled and recovering from surgery we had to call someone else to make the repair. If you are referred to this company refuse to deal with them. Especially if you have a medical issue at home and need SOMEONE to help out--on time!!!
