******* w/ WDT was sent out by our Home Warranty company, ******** **** ****** on 10/28/23, to fix a pipe leak under the kitchen sink. He came out, tried to remove the old leaking pipe and realized they didn't have the right tools to do the job. Even though we sent him pics and videos of the project and what to expect upon arrival. They left and haven't returned for over a week after damaging the pipe further & causing it to leak even more. ******* told me by text that he didn't try to remove the pipe or damage it any more than it already was. He said he only inspected the leak. But suggested I should get a roll of **** **** and hopefully that will help. it did not help. We have cameras in the house that show him wrenching on the pipe unsuccessfully for quite some time. But was unable to remove it. He was informed that our interior cameras show him trying to remove the pipe. He then changed his story and admitted to wrenching on the pipe and couldn't get it out. He then pushed us out for over a week saying he had a busy schedule and asked for our patience to return to complete the project on Saturday. We weren't happy to know we were not a priority with a now bigger leak under the kitchen sink that we now cannot use at all for over a week. He scheduled for Saturday morning at 9am. At 7:45am he text and said his work van had "died and he needed a tow truck." He said he didn't know when or if he could return to do our repair. ******* mentioned he has a lot of Water Heater replacements that he needs to get done and doesn't know when he'll be able to return. He seems like a guy who will accept a job, start a job, cause damage in someone's home, leave and then never return. I am thankful Richard with WDT Plumbing & Heating LLC is a licensed, bonded & insured contractor with the State of *******. I will be reaching out to the ********* ** *********** to file a formal complaint with the States Licensing Board. Beware of WDT Plumbing taking on projects they cannot handle.
