Purchased a product from an authorized dealer..the item broke with little use Riton offers a 2 year warranty on red dots. I still have 1 of 2 years left on warranty. Their website states EMAIL or call for an RMA. I prefer email for personal reason. I emailed Riton on 01/12/24 and have not gotton any response yet. I feel they don't care to honor my warranty since this is a recently discontinued model... I just want my warranty claim to be recognized and honored.Initial Complaint

I returned an item for warranty work, via UPS and it was signed for on 12.4.2023. The rma number was 21535. I never received any form of notification of receipt or acknowledgement. I called multiple times and left voice mails, and followed up with emails, still no response. I finally reached Anthony on 12.12.2023 and he acknowledged the item was received, and advised me I should be hearing something within two weeks. It is now 1.9.2024, and still no responses, acknowledgements or any form of communication. I have left a number of voice mails, and there continues to be no response.Customer response

Thank you for your time, but I would like to close this complaint. I have been in contact with *****, the Department Manager of Riton Optics. She engaged with me, resolved my issue and provided me with the replacement item. I am more than satisfied with the results of my interaction with her. She apologized for the issue, and made it right.

I bought a pair of 30mm ***** scope rings from a well known national dealer. They arrived and the lugs on the bottom looked odd so I sent an email ***** asking about the lugs (that went unanswered) so a few days later I called and ***** confirmed the rings were absolutely defective and I was told a return label would be emailed to me. ***** advertises a “lifetime warranty” and I figured that since they confirmed the rings were defective and had my information that everything would be dealt with. Unfortunately this is not the case and because ***** has yet to follow up on the issue I am now outside the return window of the distributor I purchased *****’s defective rings from. So now I’m stuck with a near $90 set of “precision machined” scope rings that are anything but, that ***** even acknowledged as being defective, and ***** has yet to actually do anything to solve this issue, even after two follow up emails on my part. I’m not asking ***** to “refund” money I spent with some sporting goods distributor, I’m simply asking ***** to honor the lifetime warranty they advertise on their site for a brand new unused item that was unusably defective out of the box.Customer response

Hello,
As of Tuesday December 6, 2022 the company finally emailed me a shipping label with RMA and they received my rings on Friday December 9, 2022. They have no followed up with me upon receipt but I will let the BBB know by this Friday, the 16th, what (if anything) is going on.
