I got 3 estimates fro 3 roofing companies prior to getting my patio re-roofed. When I talked with ***** of Legion roofing I explicitly asked to have my facia above the patio roof included in the estimate due to dry rot , along with having the mortar caps .it was to address all my roofing problems.He measured the facia above the patio that was damaged. He said no problem. I chose his company to do the work. When the day arrived, he no longer remembered the conversation,even forgot that the mortar caps needed attention. The mortar caps were delineated in the estimate so when he looked ,the work was there. The facia total for the patio and the roof above was 40 LF,only 12 LF was used. When I said he needed to replace the facia above the patio he said it wasnt in the work order,and it was not delineated as a separate job. However the amount of facia was included was to cover the area above the patio and I was charged for it. We paid for the work but afterward I looked at the estimate and realized I paid for facia that was not installed. We pointed out that the measurements on the facia were too much for just the patio and we assumed the rest would go on the area above the roof,his best solution to the problem was to charge ****** in labor to change the facia out. He could have and should have done it when he was here the first time. I have paid for the extra facia and his second estimate doesnt include measurement of the facia only labor,so he knows he has already charged for that. I feel he did not do his job and we should not have to pay separate labor charge since he refused to do it when he was here,its his mistake
