Dear BBB and Mr. and *********************,

After reviewing this complaint and speaking to the sales agent and office that sold this plan, we have determined that the plan was agreed to and authorized with a recorded voice verification that has been provided.  Once contacted we quickly investigated the complaint in order to determine this outcome.  We have issued a refund of the last payment for July which was requested.  We would appreciate this complaint to be removed from our BBB account.

      Thank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Value Benefits Of America - I have no idea how this company got a hold of my credit card information. I never authorized this membership. There charged me ***** a month for 19 months! That is $989.46. I reached out to the company to cancel the subscription and the representative said they would email me they never did. I called my bank to stop payments and filed a fraud dispute. I don't understand how this company is in business. The bank was only able to reimburse me for 12 months and give me $659.64 after the investigation is approved. The company needs to be responsible in giving all my money back! The company needs to give a refund of ****** since the bank will only honor 12 months. I wish I caught this scamming company earlier!

      Dear *****************************,

After reviewing your account, we have found the following.

You worked with insurance agent ***************************** in setting up this plan along with other plans.  After speaking to Mr. ******** office, we obtained the telephone verification recording that has you agreeing to and authorizing the plan to be set up and billed monthly.  This recording was provided to you today by our customer service representative.  It took us one business day to obtain the verification recording that you were requesting.  That is why the email was delayed until the day after you reached our office.  Our company is not a scam company as you stated.  We demand you remove this complaint and false statement against our company immediately.

Your plan has been canceled and you will no longer be charged as you have been notified by our customer service representative.

      Thank you

This company charged me almost $45 per month for several years to provide accident coverage at $5000 per accident. My husband had an accident in January of this year, and the company didn't payout anything, and provided no reason why.

      Dear **************************,

We have reviewed your account after receiving this communication and have found the following.

Our office does not handle the claims process and due to privacy (HIPAA) we cannot provide details on the pending claim.  We did speak to the company that does handle the claims, Coordinated Benefit Plans, and they were able to access the details for your husband's pending claim.  Coordinated advised us that they are in need of additional information that have have requested from your husband and the medical provider that is involved.  They have not received the requested information from either of you at this point.  This claim is still open.  Please contact Coordinated Benefit Plans to discuss the claim and what they are in need of to complete the claim process.  They can be reached at ************** during their normal business hours.  They would like to assist you and your husband with this and they can give you full details on the entire claim.

      Thank you
