In Feb of 2022 I had ****** over to my home for a walk through. We were going to work on some design ideas. I didnt get anything in writing, I didnt know what she wanted payment for, but she said it was towards her time and anything left over could be used on product. She asked for $1500. I wrote her a check.I called her to ask for clarity on what the $1500 was for and still no contract or written details. She called me and said it was for her time.When she came back over and had just presented a mood board I felt that what I was getting was not what I was looking for. I asked to terminate the rest of our working together and refund me. She sent me $300.I dont have any idea what she used $1200 On. I didnt get product and I certainly didnt use 12 hours of her time. I dont have a clue what her hourly rate even is.I felt extremely ripped off and taken advantage of. I have email exchanges. Thats it.
