Ordered a new iron front door with salesperson ***************** of Artistic Entry ************, mailing address **********************************************************************************************. Their website is artisticentry.com.Order number *********** on 4/6/22 The cost was $6845 and I deposited $2700 with a personal check #****. I was told it would be installed in approximately six months which I believed to be around October, 2022. I contacted **** ***************************************************** by email and text on 10/10/22 and **** whose email is listed on their website and called and left messages at the main business number and ****'s cell phone. I have not heard back from anyone regarding an update on our brand-new door. My husband, **** has also left messages as well for ****. I would like to receive an update on the door situation or receive a refund of deposit of $2700.00.Business response

This unit has already been scheduled for installation on Dec. 20th. **** no longer works for us as well as the glass that the customer ordered is very difficult for us to get with the supply chain issues of the world. Our products are all hand made, custom pieces and each one is finished and completed to our highest standards. Our orders all say that, "Time frames for products are typically accurate but not guaranteed due to uncontrollable factors." This has become particularly true since the supply chain continuum has been destroyed.Customer response

This has already been dealt with. Our sales person is not with us any longer and he deleted the email and texts so we are unable to find out what communications he had with the clients. All new emails are being responded to.Initial Complaint

Company: Artistic Entry. Order Number: ************************** Date: 12/07/2021. Deposit Made: $3,400. Doors have not been installed after 10 months of the initial deposit., No updates have been provided after multiple calls and emails. Multiple complaints at BBB for similar issues from multiple clients. WelcomeHomeAZ October 2022 magazine still shows Artistic Entry with an A+ rating, while in the BBB web page the company has a B+ rating. Enlisted their services on 01/10/22 to build and install two doors. They have billed me for half and I still do not have my doors nor has anyone contacted me to schedule the installation.Business response

I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Additionally, ensure any phone communications are via my mobile ************. The number they have on record is my desk number and is a landline. Want to avoid any games regarding me being unresponsive. I will be home and available all day 09/23/22 (Friday), they can show up anytime after 6:00 AM to complete the installation.
Also, I noticed they have a typo in my address - should be Dr *** St. The address and contact information on file with the BBB is accurate. My Information is as follows:

We ordered a door from Artistic Entry in September 2021. At the time they advised it would be 13 weeks. They promised delivery in January- January came and went and they did not respond to calls or texts. Finally end of January the owner said we would have by end of February- that came and went and again I could not get a response. Finally a text response- with Mid March and an order number- it is now April 11 and still no door and no response to my texts for information! We paid the deposit, we still have no door after 7 months! That is 29 weeks! We want the door delivered asap or our deposit redunded.Business response

***************** is mistaken when she states we told her 13 weeks. We have never given a timeframe of 13 weeks for a custom iron door and our timeframe under the best scenario is ***** weeks. Unfortunately due to the supply chain issues we deal with daily, we are running over that. We will not sacrifice quality of the product in order to rush through the manufacturing process. The current worldwide supply chain issues are not something that we can control and is unfortunate, but they exist none the less.Customer response

We have put down about $2000.00 on a security door to be made and **** estimated date for it to be done is about ********************************** 09/29/2021. I would call and email to check on it. Lately, I have to be the one chasing them. I called and left messages and no one returns my calls. I call and text **** and he would return my text whenever he feels like it. I called the office and spoke to **** and told him I left messages and no one has return my calls. His response was will it depends on what day you left the messages. Door should have been ready this week and now they are saying 04/22nd!!!!! I told them we were moving out of state and our house is for sale. This was told beginning February!!!!!! Now, they are very difficult to get in touch with. They were quick to deposit my check I wrote to them.Business response

This is not a repair issue complaint. We have been in touch with this customer and have informed her that the scheduled install date was April 22nd before this "complaint" was filed. Manufacturing delays and material delays are a world wide issue and has nothing to do with a repair or quality issue. As stated in the purchase agreement, time frames are estimated and there are things that are not in our control that *** cause delays.
