Servpro did the mitigation after a flood in my home. My insurer, State Farm, paid Servpro $14,957.66 for the mitigation. My dishwasher was damaged by placing duct tape on the front of the dishwasher to attach hoses; the damage occurred when the duct tape was removed. The project manager on the job came to my home on December 8, 2023 and agreed with witnesses present to accept responsibility for the damage and to pay for the damage. Since then, texts and telephone calls requesting payment by Servpro have not been returned. The replacement dishwasher was the same brand and model as the original dishwasher and was purchased from ********** for $1039.74.Initial Complaint

The nature of our dispute is non action on the part of ServPro Scottsdale, ****************** Avondale. We had a hose break in our dishwasher while we were in *****.Had extensive damage and mold. Our insurance Co. State Farm, suggested Serv Pro as one of the options for remediation. We called them the beginning of Sept 2022. They responded and did a good job on mold and water mediation.We thought they should do the rebuild of damages and met with them Nov. 2nd or 3rd. They said they would like to do the reconstruction. *********************** the owner of the franchise said it could be completed by end of January with no supply issues. We got right to work and picked all the paint and carpet, tile changes and granite counter tops out. Everything was in supply. No wait times. Cabinets were ordered in Dec before Christmas and said they would be ready to install mid Feb. That was the only supply issue. We kept asking when they would start but they never scheduled anything to be done. So we went ahead and hired a sheetrocker and had all the sheetrocking done in a week and a half. This upset Serv Pro so they said to continue the would need a contract. We figured they would get done in quick order but the same situation as previously acured. No action, no response to phone calls, totally ignored **. When we did make contact and demanded they get going they would send out a worker for a day or two then another week would pass before any work would be done. So on and so on. ******** calling with no response from them. Emails not returned, text not returned, phone calls not return. We spent 4 months in a insurance supplied rental trying to get the ball rolling with no avail. Mid Feb we called to get cabinets updated. No response, text after text after text. Finally *********************** came out to go over our grievances. He said he'd look into the cabinets and promised ** he'd return texts and calls that never happened. Contract signed November 30, 2020. We had a leak in a bathroom. We contacted Servpro to restore. They have been paid by the insurance company and ourselves and have failed to complete the job after 11 months. We have contacted them several times and they have not returned our calls. We have left messages with "*****" at ************. She says she will get back to us and never has. **************** sent a check made out to us and to Servpro. Servpro cashed the check without our endorsement. I believe this may be illegal. After months of having furniture out of the bedroom all over the house we had to hire 2 men to move it back into the bedroom. We paid them cash. Spoke to the owner about getting furniture moved. Said he would get back to us. Never did. This conversation was in June 2021.
