      I filed a complaint to BBB against Dermacare Laser & Skin Care Clinic. I suffered extreme bruising & swelling for 4 months, because of hard jab administered at wrong angle on my face. Written instructions state some swelling may occur for 3 to 5 days. I initially had other concerns about the procedure yet Carl Mudd did the intake & set procedure he recommended, though it ended up doing more harm than good.     

      Later after multiple no shows/closed office, though scheduled for follow up procedure, Mudd agreed to give me $1000    for my long drive and inconvenience for the two times office was closed without notice. I never received that compensation.  I met another woman outside the office that said the same thing happened to her various times. 

      After a long time, he finally responded & said he was a businessman not a doctor (though I have proof of his info & photo online that says doctor).  But he is a terrible business man anyway, and only cared about his financial gain at my expense( financial, physical & emotional).

      Mudd should refund all funds spent, and compensation funds as well. I want to give others a warning to stay away from this "business", that only wants your money . Many females would be embarrassed to opening file complaint at this type of business, but you deserve to be warned.

      I have attempted to contact the owner several times requesting a refund of ********* services that I am opting out of due to the very unpleasantnature of my last visit:1. In Sept '23, I paid for three ********* services. I have only received one treatment to date.2. On Sat, 11/4/23, I drove 45 minutes to the 2nd of three appointments scheduled for 11:00 am (confirmed by text on 11/3/23 at 3:34 pm). At 10:50 am, just as I was about to walk in, I received a text message to cancel; no phone call or explanation.3. I did not receive a follow-up call so I rescheduled myself for 12/28/23.4. On 12/28/23, I arrived at the ********** office to receive my 2nd treatment. * *****, the fill-in nurse, seriously bruised my arm and hand (pictures attached) while attempting to draw blood for the *** (I believe that's the abbreviation). I have never experienced bruising from blood draws because I have very good veins - even my file at this office indicates that I'm a good blood-draw candidate. * She dropped several items on the floor and brushed them off saying that they were clean and okay for her to use on my face. I did not want her touching my face with dirty item; she had already bruised my arm and hand. * She did not know how to operate the centrifuge machine and blamed me for having underlying health issues (not professionally diagnosed). * She indicated that there were no proper pens on hand and that she would manually micro-needle my face. I asked to be excused. The experience was not good. It was painful, worrisome and uncomfortable.?I have been a loyal customer for quite some time, but the office is experiencing staffing issues. ***** was incompetent and a clown given the comedy of errors I saw 12/28.I work for a living and don't have much disposable income; I had saved to be able to afford the services. I am simply asking for a refund. Others should be aware of the staffing issues and the lack of customer service. ***************************
