National Wellness Center changed my life, and got my knees and shoulders back on track. The people are wonderful and care about their patients! The stem cell injections really are phenomenal for what they can do. There is no real downside like scars, rehab, and possibly side effects from the anesthetic, etc. Since I'm almost 70, it's really amazing the impact the stem cells had on me. Plus, with surgery or cortisone there is no guarantee that it won't be worse after you're done. I know people who had surgery or cortisone, and were worse afterward. Like any type of shot, it does hurt, but it is so worth it. I couldn't put any weight on my left leg due to the severe damage in my left knee, especially. Now I can kneel again, & get back up more like normal. This was all due to years of damage from a physical job. Not being able to drive a clutch car, garden, walk up stairs or kneel had a big negative impact on my life. It is so great to be back to doing what I need to do. Pain takes a tremendous amount of energy, not to mention the negative way it affects you mentally. Taking pain medication isn't so great, either. I was in pain 24/7; it affected my sleep, obviously. Now, I sleep better, have a positive outlook and actually have energy. I look forward to the day, and doing things with my family. You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain by trying this first. I actually went to an Orthopedic Surgeon on the advise of my Doctor. The surgeon said the only thing that could fix both my knees was surgery. He was WRONG! I would never have surgery, now, as this fixed my problems. I am so glad I tried this first.
