Our system was still working, just not cooling down to temp and shutting off during hotter part of the day. Their technician came and diagnosed system needed a part and took half a payment without able to give a receipt. They then came back 11 days later and installed the part and completely broke our AC system. We had to spend the night in a hotel and it was our kids first day of school. When asked to come out again the phone agent said "oh it will do that, just give it some time to come back down. I insisted on having them come out again and the phone agent was annoyed but set it up. Same technician came out and said it was compressor and left. Called their general number again and they had the technician give us an update on the compressor replacement status and then asking again for updates and we were ignored. We have had to stay in a hotel for more than we week to have someone else replace the compressor. Still no receipt from them either. Customer ********************** is at a low, they never updated about service window arrival. Please go with someone else. It was disgusting seeing their advertisements during the Olympics.

Good Afternoon ******,First, we would like to convey that we are proud to support our American Athletes in this summer's games. We do feel that Champion Service was provided and am responding to your review to provide additional clarity and a timeline to the above mentioned events.1) You contacted us late afternoon on 7/11 about a Ducane home hvac system that was turning off during a significant portion of the day.2) We scheduled your first home visit within 24 hours of your request and had a senior technician visit your home on 7/12.3) During the visit, it was clear that your *** (refrigerant monitoring device), was stuck in the open position. This allowed for unrestricted refrigerant flow to your compressor, increasing energy consumption, and excess pressure on your compressor's operation.4) As you know, Champion Air was not the company that initially installed your home Ducane HVAC system. However, we do work with other brands, like Daiken, to receive warranty parts. While your Daiken *** was ordered, it did not arrive until late afternoon on 7/17.5) We do have two recorded calls and voicemails from 7/18 and an additional two recorded calls and voicemails from 7/19 informing that your *** had arrived and was ready to be installed. Later in the evening of 7/19, it was confirmed per request for 7/23, 8am installation.6) Post installation, it does naturally take a home several hours to withdraw the home's absorbed heat and providing that suggestion is common so close to a major repair, such as this one.7) The Senior Technician then returned within 24 hours and found that the *** repair was successful and the compressor was able to operate with the proper regulated refrigerant flow. However, now that the refrigerant flow was restored, the unseen damage was already done from the previous time of compensating for the bad txv part.8) We did provide you a quote to replace the compressor under warranty and also applied a 50% discount to the price as it was a further repair.9) We do have a recorded call and voicemail to your phone number on 7/25 asking for approval to move forward with replacing the compressor. This call was not returned and the bid was not accepted. There was also no deposit collected.10) ******, we are here to serve and provide Champion level service. Since the initial contact, we have logged 11 phone calls, 6 voicemails, and 14 text message communications. From our perspective, we did provide the expected level of service and will still remain available if you still have a need for your home system repair.Thank you Champion Air
