BEWARE! RIPOFF! Seriously misrepresent their fees. Go to their website and you will only see the $990 flat fee endlessly promoted. We did call for more information and were clearly told that it was $990 if we brought in our own buyer OR 2% Commission if the JUST990 ******'s Agent brought in the buyer. OK - *** 2% to your CITIEA / JUST990 Broker - period. We met in person and asked lots of questions and signed the contract with those terms on it. We were also offered and encouraged to sign a supplement to the original "marketing agreement" allowing them to offer a 2% Commission on the *** to a buyers agent for bringing a buyer to see the house and then purchase the house. Talking with the broker it was clearly stated multiple times that we would only pay that 2% if an outside agent brought a buyer to **. SO *** 4% Commission IF the CITIEA / JUST 990 broker was contacted by another outside buyer agent to see the house. 2% to our CITIEA / JUST 990 Broker and 2% to the OUTSIDE BUYERS AGENT. Ideally, we would bring the buyer ourselves (we held open houses, etc.) and pay CITIEA / JUST 990 just $990, or 2% if CITIEA / JUST 990 brought in a buyer, or 4% total if an outside broker brought in a buyer to CITIEA / JUST 990 and arranged to see the house through them. GOT IT - MAKES SENSE, RIGHT?CLOSING PAPERWORK DONE last week with 2% going to CITIEA / JUST 990 as they brought in the buyer. Got a phone call today from the ************* letting me know that CITIEA / JUST 990 had changed the commission amount to 4% - With the claim that the Buyer's Agent was another CITIEA / JUST 990 agent (the one we originally contracted to list with) and we also owed CITIEA / JUST 990 another 2% as the Listing Agent. AT NO TIME DID THEY TELL US JUST990 COULD GET A 4% COMMISSION - as both buying and listing agent. WE FEEL TOTALLY SCAMMED. SLEAZY BUSINESS PRACTICE!
