I am making this complaint for my 75-year-old grandmother that can barely see on March 18, 2025 we were sent a letter regarding her homeowners insurance and the letter said she needed to pay for her insurance to 4everhome protection for appliances that she did not even have being the 75-year-old, elderly grandmother, that she is, she could not see, and paid the amount After paying the amount, she received a call from her bank saying that it was a scam little did she know they had already taken 134 dollars out of her account after trying multiple times to take out varies of amounts from her account she was told her payments wouldn't start until April 18 but started the same day that she bought the insurance it's very sick to see the work being done by these fools she is on a fixed income and cannot afford to be scammed I advise everyone out there to stay away from this companyBusiness Response

April 18, 2025 4 Everhome *** has scammed my 89 year old mother for a bonus extended home warranty. Charging her $199/month along with $199 down payment for 24 months but then also states on email 36 months. This home she lives in with me and its 23 years old. We do not need this, they called and preyed on her and scammed her out of this money.Business Response

I received a letter saying my ************** was being canceled. So was concerned and called and he was to good of a salesman. And as a 1 time payment . Never did he say I was entering a contract for over $ 5000. With 350 a month on my mastercard. Didn't notice till April 6th 2025 they have put on my charge card $350. Since Oct 2024 .. I'm so shocked and they have no intention to refund me non what's so ever.. They are scamming people and giving you a contract you are unaware of.. I no way could ever afford having that much on charge card monthly.. Now I owe 2500 more interest is 112 dollars a month. .Called and they passed me around till the last lady and she over talked me and she said no refund .I have my mortgage and insurance together and pay dearly for it.Please stop these people taking advantage of people . I do not believe that they operate in good faith and are only saying this to get the complaint off of the BBB website. Received a letter that it was important to contact their office to avoid unnecessary delays in coverage. My dad was confused and thought it was for homeowners insurance. They live in a senior living facility and pay rent. They dont own their appliances and dont need this type of insurance. I called the number back the same day and explained this and told them we wanted this canceled and NOT to charge his checking account. They said it was too late to not charge him, but would cancel and refund the money back to him. I am waiting to see the refund and trusting the policy was canceled.Business Response

My wife was misled on the phone being led to believe it was a one time payment of ****** and nothing more. The agent told her this was the case and we were sent a payment plan agreement in the mail saying that was only one installment. This company is a scam. We spent over $338 for service, $169 a month. Because the plumbing issue was before the ***** period we were told that our problem could not be solved. We asked to cancel. The customer service representative and the account representative were very rude. We told the accountant that we wanted to cancel. He put us on hold and came back with a lower monthly payment ($123 a month)- rip off. We asked for a cancellation confirmation or an email stating that we canceled. The representative said no but its being recorded. We asked for the recording and he hung up on me. I am very displeased with this company. Please do your research before signing up. We were told that 4everhome USA was affiliated with ****************. NOT TRUE!!!! They are taking advantage of seniors.Business Response
