I paid this facility $325.00 to have testing done per a referral that was faxed to their facility. I asked if I could have the reports to that test faxed to a specialist that I was seeing and was informed by staff that they would email me a release of information to take care of this, this was on May 13th on May 17th ******************************* emailed me to inform me that since I came to Bloom on a referral any results would have to be faxed to the ordering provider. After reaching out to the ordering provider "my OBGYN" I was informed that they never received the results nearly a month later. I was scheduled to see a specialist who needed this information on May 20th and the ordering provider still never received the results so I called to inform Bloom that I would be in to pick up a copy of the report I was informed that I could not pick up the report that the only person that was able to get the report was the ordering provider. I again asked why I was unable to have access to my record and I was informed that they would not give it to me even if I came into their office to pick it up. As a healthcare provider I am fully aware of the fact that I should always have access to my medical records. I was told that I was not a patient in their office even after I completed new patient paperwork and was added to their patient portal and all of their patient forms and consents were completed how am I not a patient? My OBGYN requested the records by fax and by phone and still were unable to get the records. They denied me access to my medical records today which in turn made it impossible for me to be treated at an appointment I waited 3 months for. This company is denying cash paying patients access to their test results and refuses to fax them to the referring provider. Everyone is entitled access to their medical records and I was denied mine today. I want my records and I also feel like since I was unable to provide the specialist with this information I should get my money too
