On 10/18/2022 Two men and a truck moved my belongings. They did not follow thier own policies regarding moving a piece of furnatue. By not putting a blanket on it, by not moving it upright to fit the location and by not stopping the movement when it would clealr not go in the way they had tried. They movied this peice laying on its side with the feet facing front.The result of this was heavy damage to my belongting and heavy damage to my walls. I was offered "Insurance" by the driver who used the word "Insurance". As it tirnd out this "Insurance" is actully the emotional and whimsy decision of ***** "damage manager" who is actually the daughter of the owner.This person ******* offered to repair the furnature and refund my payment of $75. Whe I expressed skepticism about the repairs, I was told they would not be repairing my belongings and and I could accept thier 75 bucks.When I asked to speak with the ** she told me it was her Daddy and good luck.Business response

We have honored our contract with you and feel this is a fair and reasonable resolution. We did offer to have your furniture fixed by our vendor which you declined. We also offered to refund your valuation deposit of $75.00 in addition to the $75.00 our vendor would have charged to repair your furniture- he does fabulous work and I feel you would have been pleased. We believe in being very transparent with all of our customers before the move takes place how damages are handled. We are sorry for the inconvenience this situation has caused you. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to improve our service. It is not our intention to fall short of exceeding any customer expectations. Please allow us to send you a check for $150.00 and you can choose the repair vendor of your choice. Please feel free to reach out to us anytime to discuss further.

I did not reject your offer for repair. I expressed my skeptisism, not the same thing. You responded in an emotiobnal outburst and offered me $75 for the damage. Which is much less than the actual damages. And is only what you collected from me as "insurance". In other words you refuse to uphold your contract. and you are playing games. I will find a furniture repair person and send you the bill. Unless you would like to make a counter offer.
