I Contracted *** do three projects. The Last Project was complete update of my Kitchen that was finish in November 2020. The kitchen was stripped of everything. I paid for customer cabinets but they were not made to actually fit my pipes. I contact *** worker December 2021 when I discovered the holes, paneling coming off on cabinet doors and crooked door. I contact *** owner in Feb 2021. No one contacted me for 4 months so I contacted the owner again in June 2021 and July 2021. I received the new door about a year later Feb 22 . The color of door was off. They tight some handles, covered holes on the cabinet. My kitchen cabinets continue to have issues. I sent pictures as well as another *** worker who fix other issues on my other projects. My cabinet stain is fading, my cabinet doors are warped, Paneling continues to come off doors. I contact the owner in Early November 2022 asking about getting it fix with pictures of my issues. He replied "Im sorry we are not going to take care of your wear and tear problems. do not bother to contact ** anymore your warranty is way past two years. please dont bother us anymore we are not willing to do any repairs or work for you." I replied it was not pass do and the date of the receipt. I was later contacted by the *** cabinet person. He came out and took notes in January 2023 and I have not heard back. I have done all I can. This cabinets are just not well made.Business response

I wouldnt be a member of BBB if I was not planning to be fair with my customers. Since we at XLT have integrity, as a courtesy, please give me a time to have my cabinet fabricators come back one last time to adjust/touch up your wear and tear and any other issues you believe has do do with warranty for your cabinets. We signed the contract back in 2019, we normally start warranty the day we start the job, which was awhile before the final invoice. We already went back many times to fix wear and tear problems during the warranty period. You then waited until there was one month left on what you think your warranty period was, to abuse the warranty and once again make us fix more wear and tear, which shouldnt be part of what warranty covers. When we were originally doing the job, we had the cabinets ready to install. You were not ready for us and we had to have the cabinets in a storage unit for about four months. We did not charge you any extra for that. We were trying to be as fair as possible to you during the hard times for our company and many other companies during the ******19 Pandemic.Customer response

I have waited a long time for something that is not wear and tear. The cabinets are poorly designed. Cracked and warped doors are not wear and tear. The doors are split were the handles are installed. I have had this issues in the first couple of months of install. You had the cabinets design knowing we had additional projects. You design these cabinets without my other cabinets being removed. So I had holes in my cabinets because you did not wait to measure the plumbing. Why would a warranty start on the day you start remodeling. That doesn't make sense. I have all the correspondence from asking for help. You were rude to me and very disrespectful. You cabinet representative came out in January and it is now April . I feel you are not taking ownership that these cabinets are not fabricated for a kitchen. I have not taken advantage of the warranty and it is very bad business to say that. Your team can take months to get back with me but I am wrong. I need clear dates and times because the issues have already been gathered. I am lucky if these cabinets hold up because the do not represent what I bad for them. If.i can get actual day and time, I will consider allow them to try and fix this issue. But in honesty most of this doors will need replacing.
