I was told SecretSauce Group was the premier cook group to educate myself about the sneaker resell market, as well as the premier destination for networking with other sneaker heads and finding opportunities to make passive income while also completing my college education. On August 19th 2022 I purchased two pairs of sneakers from them for $520.00, being told they would be delivered within **** weeks. Feeling confident about my ability to profit from the sale of these sneakers, and seeking to scale my business, I then purchased an additional pair of sneakers from them for $615.00 on September 2nd 2022. Additionally, they charge a membership fee to be admitted into their ************* Chat (where they conduct all of their business) for $60/month. I have paid this fee since August 2022, for a total of $360 (6 months). In total, I purchased 3 sneakers for $1,135. Both **** week timelines came and went. As you will see in the attachments, we were initially told that there were some minor hiccups in receiving the goods but that they should be received in a timely fashion. We were then told that we would have the option to replace these shoes with other products due to the unexpected hold **** but again, that promise was not fulfilled.Eventually, SecretSauce Group informed us that the wholesaler was clearly committing scam, that the items were not on hand, and the very few that were were counterfeits, and that refunds would be issued in a timely manner. They admitted that the wholesaler (Manna Wholesale LLC) was someone who had previously had a record of fraud (such as organizing the Fye Musical Festival fiasco a few years back), and that they had reason to believe he had cleaned up his act and was now a trustworthy business partner. Some (far too late research) detailed ***** being a known fraudulent wholesaler in the sneaker business dating as far back as a year before SecretSauce entrusted them with their business which has cost me over $1,000.
