Purchased 2 CERTIFIED (2019 Nissan Pathfinder & 2020 Nissan Kicks) Vehicles in January 2022 from Coulter Nissan. Within 6 months of purchase upon taking vehicle for regular servicing they note that the bushings on the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder were starting to crack and if we fixed them, the out of pocket cost would be nearly 5000. No issues driving the vehicles until another 6 months later my husband was parked at my daughter school and when it was time to leave, the car would not shift out of park. We had taken it in 4 days prior for regular servicing and there were no noted issues. When taking the car back to the dealership after forcing out of park with the safety button, the dealership sets up to fix the shifter all while informing that the transmission has been recalled and will be fixed at no cost. When asking if the shifter will be fixed at no cost with the transmission, they say no they are not related. The shifter is a part of the transmission but it is not associated and cost 900 to fix at the same time door actuator broken and part on back order for over a year. Cannot unlock door with key fob or button. A year later 2 more door acutators break one on 2020 kicks drivers door which was covered under warranty but the 2 passenger side door ones for the nissan pathfinder not covered. Cost is 228 for part and 225 for labor per door. Service manager ******* says it is a common part that breaks on Nissans but its not considered a safety issue or recalled. You cannot unlock the door unless you push the switch lever, but it is not a saftey issue??? Ive been driving cars for 30+ years and never have had to replace a door actuator.

*** vehicles were purchased as Certified Nissan vehicles in January of 2022. *** Certified warranty is a limited warranty that will cover a limited amount of items. *** customer was offered an extended warranty but declined this option on both vehicles. ***se items being mentioned are not covered under the Limited Warranty on the vehicles. Listed below are dates and miles on the vehicles when they came in....

Customer bought a used 2020 Kicks that had ***** miles.
At ****** miles on 7/23/24 it needed a LF door lock actuator. We submitted it to Nissan for goodwill assistance since it was only out by ***** miles and Nissan took care of it 100%.

Customer bought a used 2019 Pathfinder that had ****** miles.
At ****** miles on 8/4/2023 they brought it in for a right rear door lock actuator failure which was on backorder. It was not eligible for goodwill assistance because it was over ****** miles out of the basic warranty.
At ****** miles on 8/16/2023 the shifter solenoid failed in the shifter.***y brought it in and the tech found it needed a shifter assembly and he found a code in the transmission module that indicated a inter shutter condition. *** shifter is covered by the basic 3/36 warranty so again it was out of warranty over ****** miles. *** transmission was covered by the certified powertrain warranty and was warrantied 100%.
Now the car has ****** miles and a second lock actuator has failed and it is out of warranty by ****** miles.

As you can see there has been thousands of miles put on these vehicles since purchased. We have honored everything covered under the Nissan Certified  Warranty and have even got Nissan to Goodwill work that was not covered. *** Extended Warranty would have covered most, if not all of these issues but the customer declined purchasing it.

Please reach out with any additional questions. Thank you!

      Sincerely,

Bought 5 vehicles with coulter nissan. I unfortunately was the one that recieved a Lemon on my certified used vehicle. That I have drove an average 4,500miles a year. They are not trying to resolve any of this. Please do not go here! Everything wrong with my car is things Nissan themselves put an extended warranty on to avoid a recall. I miss it by 5 months due to time. Not milage. They do not care about the Lemon Law. Be So super careful. And that's when we've ******** 5 vehicles.

This customer bought this car from ** in 2017 and has the vehicle serviced somewhere else. She brings the car in five years later with a transmission issue and the warranty is out because of time. This has absolutely nothing to do with any kind of Lemon Law.  We went to Nissan and were able to get Nissan to split the cost on this. They offered to pay 50% of the repair which is a very good gesture considering the vehicle is out of warranty. Not sure how we did anything wrong on this, we were able to get her 50% coverage of the bill on a car that is out of warranty....

Please reach out to me at ************ if there are any further questions. Thank you.

      Sincerely,

actually not, I don't bring it in as often as someone because I drive under **** miles a year. And, I am the one that got them to provide the goodwill 50%. You guys found out the following day. I was dealing with affairs behind the scene. So sorry, you're 40mins away and I don't drive as often as someone else. I don't need it serviced the same amount as someone else. And I came in 5 months after time expiring. But even the lower links are covered under extended warranty and you guys still won't fix it. Nissan put extended warranties on 2013-2015 certain vehicles so they didn't have to recall them. At least according to Nissan's public reporting from the stock market.

As stated in the previous email half of the repair cost will be covered under goodwill. The vehicle is out of warranty and this is going above and beyond to help this customer out. I apologize that she doesn't think that is fair but we are covering repair costs that we are not responsible for to help out. Thank you.

      Sincerely,

Coulter nissan made an error that they promised to rectify but haven't. we went in and purchased 2 cars from them. They mistakenly transfered plates from a car we own and did not trade in to our new car. We never requested this to be done nor were we told this would be done. Because this was done and were not aware. We had sold the vehicle but our deal fell thru as a private party sale since we were unable to access the title due to our registration being canceled completely. Now that we have decided to keep the vehicle the only way for us to make the car legal was for us to re-register the vehicle. we paid $110 out of pocket to re register the vehicle at a 3rd party. I spoke to ************************* a couple times and he said we would be re imbursed he promised a check would be ready for us. We went into the dealer and ********************* said it would be mailed out but hasn't. I have called multiple times but they are never available for me to speak to. I have left multiple messages without hearing
