    I rented a vehicle on November 20th. Everything was fine until I noticed something was wrong with the vehicle. I brought it in on Friday to get an oil change to ucars. After 3 hours of working **** on December 6 at 7:30pm the steering wheel locked up on the side of the freeway with **** passengers in the car. The Phoenix police escorted the passengers to safety and the car got towed to ucars where I didn't work that weekend. The ucars is not open on the weekend. The mechanic at Ucars told me they unplugged the steering wheel cord so the steering wheel locked up. I got the car back on the 9th. On the 14th at 2:26pm the car had problems again. Steering wheel locked, battery car won't turn off, engine light came on, and car won't move forward. I called the billing and they told me they deactivated the car service. They wanted me to pay for the week when they gave me a unreliable car to work in. I paid $200.00 even though I knew the car didn't have problems cuz of them deactivating the car. The tow yard tower the car and I'm not working. I can't work cuz they gave me an unreliable car and they want me to pay when they are the ones messing with the car to get me not to use it. I feel they are scamming me. On top of that, I need a car for important disability/domestic violence problems I'm having towards me. Can you guys help me? I'm on a domestic violence shelter.

    On June 6, 2024. I paid $452.15 for weekly rental and $249 deposit. They said they would refund my money within 48 hours for the whole amount. 96 hours later, they debited my checking account $452.15. I filed a claim with my bank and my bank credited my checking account the $452.15. The is a provisional credit until bank investigate my claim.The is an UCars location operating under Buggy Rideshare.They did not advertise that the car can only be used in **. Nor did they disclose this requirement to me. Meanwhile, I ubered to and from the police department in *********, **. I flew from ********* to ******* to rent the car for ubering. The transaction was authorized. The representative stated as she handed me keys that the car can only be used in *******. I said that no representative mentioned that to me. I ubered to Buggy Rideshare to Greyhound bus station in ******* back to *********. Then ubered back home from ********************* in *********

    I rented a vehicle from the company for one year I gave them a $249 deposit. I returned the car on April 24th 2024 and I was with them they checked the car out and told me I was getting my deposit back in 14 days. Today is May 8th 2024 I have not received my deposit back and I called them today and on Monday and was told I would have my deposit back today on May 8th 2024. I have documentation if needed.

    UCars opened a new location in ********* ****** to rent cars to Uber drivers. I rented a car from them but because their cars have ******* registrations, the Uber app platform keeps rejecting them causing me not even being able to use the car for the exact, specific reason it was rented for. How am I expected to continue paying the rental payment on the car if I can't even use it for the whole reason I'm renting it?

    Where do I start? My car was taken 3 days after my due date. I was given till Friday to pay it. No set time. Friday at around 845 at night they shut my car off right after I dropped off an uber passenger. And I was 3 hours from home. Text messages prove I was given till Friday with no set time. I had plenty of money to pay the rental after I dropped off my passenger. But my car was shut off. They proceeded to continue to charge me to this day and have used my deposit. And charged my $500 to get their car towed. Which was not in the contract that I signed. They also charged me for a key fee which was 300. The key was left in the car. I had no use to take a key that doesn't do me good. They also charged me for hail damage to the car. Which can't be prevented. Also charged me a fee for gas. When they know there was no gas in it in the first place when I got the car. There are multiple fees that are unacceptable. I want my deposit back and clear my account. And after that I'm done and won't pursue a lawsuit. I was even denied a supervisor on the recorded call. The ******************* said he doesn't have a supervisor and not gonna get one. I have my own phone recording app. I will definitely use that once I file the lawsuit. And I will ask other drivers who rented to be a part of the lawsuit. The biggest your company has ever had. Either I get my deposit back and clear my account or I will pursue this to the fullest extent.

    I have been renting a car from this company and I have been paying every week for three months now and not only is the price extremely high but the customer service is no good. If you call the office they hang up on you and if you become just a couple of days past due they disable the car no matter where you at. They have left me stranded multiple times no matter where I will be at and if you try to do some sort of payment arrangement they will not work with you at all this place is shady and wrong.

    Date 7/31/2023 I had paid the prior Friday for the week . I had taken it in for minor repairs to a super horrible place called x express **** w Warner . The mechanics were salesman and the manager named **** is a horrible human !!!!!!! I pay 490 dollars a week to get ticked over by this *************** . He clearly profits and boasts over go Much they scam . So this mechanic was harassing me because it's an easy ***** when I take the car in . So I says to him that I didn't like his tone when he spoke to me . 15 min after my car was non operational. Cut off . No Val . No notice from UCARS . I only knew because his mechanic shop was threatening me . I don't feel safe with either business

    I rented a car with UCars in ******* . Updated my payment method. On 6/25 I was hit by a hit & run driver advised UCars immediately. I prepaid on 6/23 accident on 6/25 only had car 1 day. Its been weeks that I have been trying to get my refund plus my down payment. They ended up sending me a $6.55 refunded to my updated payment method and $ 365 to an old card on file . Its a month . I tried rectifying this with UCars and they refuse to fix their issue. I have requested a manager on several occasions to no avail . ****** would only give his name a ******************* who never returns calls . As of today no success in getting my money back .     I am filing a complaint regarding a transaction that took place on 4/28/2023 for $596.00 to Ucars officially registered with the ******* ********************** as "UCARSA LLC". On their website driveucars.com, Ucars states "We are a driver-centric company. We are 100% committed to providing you with the vehicles and support you need to earn an income with ridesharing companies." I don't find this to be completely true when it comes to providing support as Ucars seems to regularly and unnecessarily utilize remotely deactivating vehicles the company rents out to its customers as a normal method of communication, disabling the driver from making the income needed to continue payments. On April 28th 2023, I processed a payment for $596.00 for car rental services rendered from Ucars but this business still decided to deactivate my rental car with them on 5/1/2023. I was not aware of deactivation until the conclusion of my business day at my full time job at 6 pm in the evening after Ucars normally closes. I had no missed calls, no email communication or text messages from Ucars. I missed an entire of doing Uber rides and up to $200 of revenue I could have made if Ucars did not deactivate my car. I reached out to an emergency contact for a ride home from work and I called at 9 am on 5/2/2023, getting in touch with an office associate named ******. ****** incorrectly stated that the vehicle termination was related to a past due balance and demanded that I be on time with my payments. I kindly corrected ****** and stated that the account was paid in full as of 4/28/2023 and the vehicle wasn't deactivated until approximately the end of the business day on 5/1/2023. Furthermore, I asked ****** to further research why the rental car deactivated but she refused to go any further with the conversation so I asked to speak with the highest level of support in the office. She refused to transfer my call to a higher representative and I have not received a call back for resolution.

    I rented a vehicle from them today 4/28/2023 after the initial inspection the vehicle was ok I drove the vehicle to my home 5 miles away during this trip home first the check engine light came on then the battery light came on then the ac started blowing hott.now 378 is a very steep payment for their service for it not to be a working deal . I have try o help me my family financially, now I'm 378 in the hole and have a rental sitting in front of my house that *** have to be towed back to their place of business.
