I ordered a custom embroidered dash cover for a family member for a gift on their birthday. However after a week I never received a confirmation email saying that my order had or will be shipped along with a tracking number. So the following week I called 3 days in a row due to everyday the customer service representative ( everyday ) a different representative. Each day I was told that they had to call shipping department and I would receive a call back with the information on my product. The phone call from the company back to me has never came . So this morning I called back again and I spoke to the gal and I told her you know what I just want to cancel this order because its obviously not coming so please just reimburse my money asap thank you. She tells me well we cant refund your money unless you return the product. Then she says well its been shipped so you should be getting it . I said perfect can you email me the tracking number that she should have provided me when the product was shipped. She says we dont have the tracking number but that my product is shipped. At this point Im put on hold for an hour then the phone is hung up . What the h*** is this . So now Im feeling like Im being lied to and I cant get my money back unless I have a product to return which I will probably never get . This company and their staff / service is bottom of the barrel. So now I guess Im just out a $100 bucks . Definitely upset and I want to rate 0 stars out of 5.Dash Designs Inc Response

They are WELL AWARE OF THE PROBLEM that the retractable shade strings break in *******. (I upgraded & paid more money last August for a ******************** told me was heavier, better quality.) The string already broke on the new one, yesterday I took it in & asked to upgrade to the Solar Shield (that is now $5. more than the $45.99 I paid for the retractable) so I dont have to hassle coming in again when string breaks. ************* refused to let me upgrade & wanted to give me a lil discount to buy a new one. ******* tried to tell me I originally purchased the shade in 2018. Funny how that purchase clearly stated an ALOHA ********* have a BUTTERFLY!! ******* clearly didnt put these times Id been in into the system or the upgrade. In fact, he never asked for my name prior to yesterday. Then he refused to even give me a receipt on the even exchange yesterday & said he had been doing me a favor when he had restrung or replaced the broken one- What a joke! A favor for my inconvenience to bring in your broken products under warranty & then pay additional money & upgrade in hopes of it lasting! Then, before I left, a man came in & stated the exact same thing I had just said. He put his broken string retractable shade on the counter & said These do not hold up to the *******!- they told him they couldnt find him in the system he said, *** purchased these for all my ********** did purchase them here- no one else sells these. I dont know about your system but thats my name & I got them here. They refused to repair or replace the shade & wanted him to purchase a new one- he ended up leaving his broken shade on the counter & left in pure frustration. I bet he wont be making purchases at DD again. How about stating Im sorry for the inconvenience & can restring the broken product. To bad you NO LONGER stand behind your word, product or Warranty! We are sorry that you feel you had a bad experience. I researched the issue, stated above, and this is what I found. The original shade purchase was 9/11/2018. We have a 2 -year warranty from date of purchase. Our Warranty fixes or replaces the product and allows the replacement/fixed purchase to still carry the original warranty from the original date. Our records show there is a replacement new shade given within the first two years as an in-person transaction. We also show that we replaced the original shade with an Art ****** shade which is a bit more durable due to the thicker foil fabric and due to the concerns at the time. It is now 5 years after the original purchase and at least 3 years out of the warranty time frame. Customer has now returned asking for a different product as a replacement. Our warranty does not allow for substitutions of products however, we did give her another replacement shade. She asked for a receipt to prove purchase date. Unfortunately, we were not able to provide the receipt since the product was not purchased and it was given at no charge even though she was 3 years out of warranty time. She was very upset. We tried to meet her halfway by giving her a replacement even after her warranty had expired. Unfortunately, customer left angry and yelling as other customers had arrived.Review from Gregory M

Ordered floor mats for my 2012 ****** to match my interior. Viewed their colors and selected Charcoal. The item they sent was not anywhere near the advertised color instead it looked like Silver which they also advertise. I sent photos of what they sent compared to what their advertisement showed. They responded that that though it looks different then their advertised color the one they sent is now their charcoal and is non refundable and non returnable. Deceptive advertising and poor customer service. I would never order from this company again and advise others to beware as well.Dash Designs Inc Response

The company accepted my order and the payment by U.S. *********** money order. Once they received the payment via the mail, the order was processed quickly. Upon receiving the product, there was a mild smile; the dashboard cover was a perfect fit. While thinking about the company and their sales team, another order was placed as a gift to a family member; something of what guys give as a present. In short, I would recommend this type of product to many, including a thoughtful gift for someone who deserves a thank you.
