On 6/6/22 Mr. ********************** came to clean tile floors in my house. When the floors dried, a white residue appeared on virtually all the tile and furniture. On 6/7/22 Mr. ********************** sent another person who tried to get the white residue off of the floor and furniture, but was unsuccessful. The office manager came later on 6/7/22 and took pictures of the white residue on my floors and furniture. I was asked to send receipts for the furniture that was damaged, which I did. Mr. ********************** scheduled with me to send another person to attempt again to remove the white residue on 7/1/22, but did not show up for the appointment. Mr. ********************** claimed that they had us scheduled for 7/4/22, which is an obvious lie since that is a federal holiday. I hired a restoration company that was able to remove the white residue from the tile floors and from all the furniture except the bedroom furniture. I have contacted Mr. ********************** myself on multiple occasions to try to resolve this issue amicably. I hired an attorney to send a demand letter to Mr. *********************** which was sent on 8/10/22. I called on 9/23/22 to follow-up on the demand letter and the person who answered the phone said "I am not allowed to talk to you. You have to talk to my lawyer" but refused to give me the name/contact information of the company's lawyer.

There was a white dust that easily comes off. Customer would not let us come remove it and proceeded to try to charge us thousands of dollars for something that could have been easily removed. She then sent us receipts for things that she had for years and years and tried to charge us full price. We could have removed the residue within a hour.

Mr. *********************** response to my complaint is further evidence of their dishonest business practices and refusal to take responsibility for damage they caused to my furniture and floors.  I DID let Mr. ********************** come to my house to remove the white residue left on my furniture and floors by their cleaning of my tile floors on June 6, 2022.  As I stated in my original complaint, Mr. ********************** was at my house on June, 7, 2022 for at least 3 hours trying to remove the white residue from my tile and furniture and was unsuccessful.  Mr. ********************** is lying when they say that I would not let them come to my house to remove the white residue since let them come to my house not once, but three times.  Mr. ********************** is lying again in their statement that the white residue could have [been] removed within an hour since they spent over three hours at my house on June 7, 2022 trying to remove the white residue and were unsuccessful.  In their response, Mr. ********************** seems to be implying that I arbitrarily sent them invoices for the furniture they damaged.  This is another example of their deceptive business practice.  When I made Mr. ********************** aware of the damage to my furniture, they requested that I send them invoices for the damaged furniture.  The bedroom furniture that Mr. ********************** damaged was purchased in January 2018.  I disagree that 4 year old furniture is furniture that I have had for years and years.  In their response to my complaint, Mr. ********************** did not offer any compensation for the damage they did to my floors and furniture nor did they make any suggestions for resolving my complaint.

We definitely tried to come back and fix the problem.  She wouldnt let us and is now trying to charge us an unreasonable amount of money.  We did put in a claim with our insurance recently and will letting  them deal with with it. If she hasnt heard from them already she will soon.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.  I do, however, want it on the record that Mr. ********************** continues to be dishonest in their statement.  I DID allow them to come into my home to remove the white overspray residue from my furniture and floors on June 7, 2022 and July 1, 2022.

      Regards,

      *************************
