We hired Camber and True as our architect firm in March with the stipulations of finishing quickly and with less than 999 sq.ft. of addition. They failed every step of the way. First they did not check the setbacks to have full knowledge in dealing with the city for permitting. We had to find proof of true setbacks, which cost us 3 and a half weeks of time and rent. Second, Camber and True did not talk to our HOA after we repeatedly told *** that the community was a one story community with restrictions for number of stories and height since we were adding a roof top deck.Thirdly, no one at Camber and True checked the sq.footage to determine the limits on building up to 999 feet over our current property. Even though the sq.footage of addition was stipulated as important to avoid civil engineering fees and time extension. Instead, we were sent a price of over $14,000 to correct for their lack of care or concern for our job after already charging $28,500 for initial fees plus $3000 for electrical engineering.Lastly, we were not informed that she would use an online structural engineer who never saw the property in person to assess the home. He is listed online as $120/ hour to put his stamp on plans out of state. All of this has taken 4+ months and we are having to start over with a more competent architect. We have asked for a refund, but as expected she is refusing and all about taking money and not providing professionalism and care.

This complaint is not related to any work performed by Camber and True Construction. Camber and True Construction has only provided a cost estimate for the construction of the addition/remodel of the subject property and is not under contract in any way.Customer response

Camber and True was paid over ****** dollars to do the work. They are not being truthful. But yes, we have terminated the agreement even though they were paid in full and are keeping our money in light of their failures. I will attach the contract and the cancellation of their services after many costly mistakes. .Business response

Once again, the business entity of Camber and True Construction, LLC does not have a contract with these individuals. Camber and True Construction, LLC is a General Contractor providing construction services.
