I had the misfortune of working at East Valley Children's Center as a Medical Receptionist, and let me tell you, it was a nightmare. The moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with a toxic atmosphere of overwork, underpayment, and managerial incompetence. My initial warning came from departing receptionists who cited excessive workloads, low pay, and management's disregard for employee concerns. Predictably, they left shortly after my arrival, a clear sign that I should have followed suit. A member of the billing department, exhibited verbally abusive behavior towards colleagues, yet was not held accountable. Management displayed a talent for gaslighting employees. Complaints about overbooking, overworking, and underpaying fell on deaf ears. The wages at **** were abysmal, and there were no policies to protect against harassment. The providers prioritized profit over patient care. The lack of cleanliness in the office posed health risks. Despite multiple complaints, minimal cleaning efforts were praised, leaving the office unclean. The breaking point came with a strike due to intolerable conditions. Instead of addressing concerns, the owners allowed unqualified individuals to masquerade as medical assistants, showing a disregard for medical ethics and standards. **** is a toxic workplace where employees are overworked, underpaid, and undervalued. Management is incompetent and indifferent to staff well-being, prioritizing profit over care. Parents, beware: your children deserve better. Take your business elsewhere.
