Kayo energy was contracted 6/8/23 to install solar panels for a flat monthly fee of $182.33 (financed by Dividend) instead of being billed by APS.I already had a solar installation by Solar City (Tesla), that was producing energy back to the grid, offsetting my monthly APS payments for a flat monthly lease of $110.49.Although Kayo (*********************) mentioned I was still producing electricity, the meter would adjust once reconnected, Kayo had totally turned off the whole system, as verified by a Tesla technician who came to check in as to why my system was down. He noticed that the breaker Kayo had installed prevents the breaker-box lid from closing properly, and said that it could be an arc concern due to bad breaker contacts. Kayo also failed to contact *****, and modified their install without Teslas consent. I have notified Kayo of the situation, nothing has been done to rectify this.I am paying full APS price, Dividend, plus Tesla on top of it. I alerted Dividend, since Kayo was unresponsive to voicemail, and emails. The Kayo agent who replaced my previous point of contact disappeared. Kayo failed to update me with a new agent, as they did when the later joined the team. Dividend halted payments for a few months, sign that they deem Kayo to be a problem.Dividend became my proxy to talk to Kayo. Its as if one talks to their mortgage company to address their contractor. I urged them multiple times to have Kayo reach me directly, respond to my emails, etc to resolve the matter amicably. Dividend tells me there is a permitting issue. I have sent all permits, but I was unable to know which exact issue they're talking about, just that there is an issue. Kayo had no problem talking to the city and relating to me the facts prior to the install. I even reached out to the Kayo Statutory Agent via Linked in, no response.Kayo is in breach of contract due to willful negligence on top of the extra costs incurred.

We paid out of our pocket to have the wall put back up they had to tear down to install solar meter and we're sent a check for reimbursement but when deposited it was returned as blocked. I've left numerous messages at the beginning of the year with not a phone call back They were also to pay a company to paint the wall. Which as the pictures shows never happened.I would like this to be resolved without having to go to court.I can provide further documents showing the check I received where it was deposited and returned to us. No way to reach anyone to get this resolved.

Kayo Energy installed a solar system on our roof. During the installation that damaged a number of tiles as is shown with the attached engineers report. In Feb of 2024, when it rained, part of our home started to leak exactly where the solar units are.We have reached out to Kayo Energy via phone call and email and there has been no one who has called us back to address this issue. We are asking them to contact us to take care of all damages.

We have hd our solar installed by Kayo. It has been working fine until i got an email from enphase stating that the gateway its not communicating with our wifi. I called the enphase for directions. They tried to help me resolve the matter over the phone to no avail. They instructed me to call my installer, kayo energy. I tried calling them and all i got was a busy signal. I looked the company up and found out the business is bankrupt. Now i dont know how we are going to get the gateway fixed. Kayo told us that our solar is guaranteed for 25 years. Who can wefor this problem?

The company came in to install their solar and had to wire into my existing solar panels and battery backup. I had ongoing issues with the system not working correctly with my exisiting system and causes my battery backup not worked properly. They put in a junction box that can be opened and is damaged. Poor work and one of the inverters was wired backwards. My battery backup system can no longer work properly. They signed off on completed work and submitted to the bank for payment without approval from Homeowner/ Load Holder for competed work and my system has not worked properly since. There install caused my incombent system not to work properly

I agreed to enter into a contract with Kayo under the understanding that they would include Kritter Guard to keep the pigeons out. When they did not install the pigeon fencing around the solar panels I asked why and they explained that they since had changed their policy but they made a generous offer to pay for half of what it would cost. They sent an invoice for $300 and I payed. I contacted Kayo multiple times to ask when the installation would start and they never responded. All I want is for Kayo to finish the job that I payed for.

KAYO energy installed solar panels on our house in 2020. Our energy bill keeps going higher and higher. I have checked our portal and there has been no update since 2022. There is a 25 year guarantee on the panels (which are NOT paid off) but I can't get a hold of anyone. The number seems to be disconnected, and all emails have gone unanswered.

We are in the process of selling our house and the lender needs to get paperwork from Kayo of the transfer. Three weeks of trying to contact them via email, phone (which the lines are non working), and social media messaging with zero communication on their part. There is absolutely no way to get in contact with this company. Our house being sold has been delayed due to the poor service of this company and its lack of communication.

Kayo Energy did a solar panel installation on our home in conjunction with ************* Solutions. They claimed they did a roof inspection prior to installation of solar. 10 months later we have leaks and are told by Right Way Roofing that the underlayment is shot and the whole roof should be replaced. We knew due to the age of the roof it would likely be needed in the near future and they assured us they would inspect it prior to installation so we could have repairs done and include those in the financing if desired. We were also told if we needed repairs after the fact that it would be a low fixed fee of $250 to remove and replace the panels for roof repairs, turns out it's another $2,250. All of this less than 10 months after being told the roof was in good enough condition to take the panel installation.

I have tried to contact the company by phone and email with no response. Their local location is no longer open here in ********* but I've contacted their headquarters in *******. My system is not producing any where near the amount it should be and hasn't been for over a year, so either it needs to be serviced or they need to refund my money.
