*************************** ************** email ******************************** *** resealed our redwood deck in Feb/March 2023. Our seal on our wood deck started peeling off after only 8 months. I contacted *** in December of 2023 telling him the deck was peeling. He has pushed me off and it is now April of 2024. He came over and admitted he was in the wrong and said he used a bad product. He said he would come fix it and if it were his house he would be mad too. He has put this off for so long my red wood deck is deteriorating. He was supposed to redo the job starting 4/22/24. He told me he didnt have insurance so he couldn't do the job. He agreed to give me my money back. He texted me on Sunday April 21st 2024 saying he would give me a $1000 tomorrow and then will write a contract for the remaining amount. *** has now BLOCKED me. I have a contract from Frontline Wood Finishing Inc that *** signed. I have emails, text messages from him stating he would give me my money back. He offers a 10 year warranty but now he is hiding. I have filed a complaint with the *** as he is an unlicensed contractor. He never listed on his contract that he is unlicensed which he is supposed to do. The job was also over $1000 so he legally needs to be licensed. *** is contracting and advertising without a license. *** asked for his checks to be made out to him personally instead of his business Front Line Wood Finishing **** He told my wife that his bank told him to do it this way to save on taxes. We made one check out to *** and the other check out to Frontline. I have reported this to AZ **** of ******* for TAX FRAUD. I have sent them both copies of the cashed checks with his signatures on them. ******************************* business Front Line Wood Finishing needs to be shut down.

Hired *************************** to refinish our kitchen, 4 baths and laundry room. Quoted us $7650 for the full job, of which we paid $5k in advance. *** did such a bad job from day one, we ended up having to say we didnt want him to come back. From hiring inexperienced helpers that stripped out screws on day one, to using the wrong products and warping toe kicks, to paint and overspray on appliances, dishes, glasses, floors and walls. No sanding or proper prep done. When asked why he was not completing the job as he had stated he would, he said not to worry and he would correct things in the end. The cabinet boxes still show the ********************* finish through the white paint, and the doors are a different color than the boxes. Cabinet door in master bath, fell off due to stripping screws. During this time, we found more reviews from other clients that were dealing with the same situation and found out he is not even licensed in the state to do these jobs. We had 3 contractors come out to see about fixing and finishing the job. Best quote we could find was another $9200. They all agreed the job was terribly done and would need much work to correct. I contact *** to say I wanted to get some of money back to help pay for the additional cost. He agreed in writing to pay us $2k back by mid October. After multiple requests, he paid $750, but stopped communicating and has sent none of the remainder. He should not be allowed to continue in this role as he is unfit to operate and has shown a continued desire to take advantage of people.

Refinished front door of home in Aug. 2020 and gave me a 10 yr written warranty. Door faded in spots and needed repair a year later. I communicated with owner for 3 months before he came out finally and said he would refinish entire door under warranty. He set a time and did not show up or answer texts. Wanted to delay again and I said "NO". I asked for my $500 fee back and I'd call someone else and he did not answer. He was referred to me by Arizona Painting but I don't think he is affiliated with them personally. I want my $500 back so I can call another company. I subsequently read BBB reviews and see others have same complaint. Joe Grossmayer does not deny his 10 yr. warranty.
