The following is an honest review that is supported with court exhibits I submitted to the ******** ****** ******* ******. The case number is *************. Due to a simple check engine light, I made the fateful decision to have my car looked at Ultimate European Repair. Based on their fraudulent 5-star reviews, I was duped into thinking my car would be in good hands with ****** (The Owner). This would turn out to be the worst financial decision of my life. I am a middle-aged vulnerable female that was exploited and taken advantage by ****** (The Owner) and Ultimate European Repair. I was charged an expensive diagnosis fee plus the cost of the repairs ($500). After having it repaired the first time, I drove off thinking my car was all good. I would be wrong.Thereafter my check engine light would come right back on. I would immediately call the shop and was told to bring the car right back in. I was fooled into thinking I was covered under their warranty. This was not the case. Again, I got charged an expensive diagnosis fee plus the repair cost ($2500). Through their nefarious tactics, Ultimate European Repair was able to cross sell me ******* ******* (lender) so I could finance the cost of the repairs. ******* ******* approved me for $2185. The rest of the balance was charged to my **********. When I got my car back, I immediately noticed something was not right. As soon as I drove on the freeway it went into limp mode and the check engine light came on. I was devastated. I just paid over $2500 to have it repaired. My car was worse after having Ultimate European Repair work on it. My car was towed back to Ultimate European Repair. On this visit I was told their prior work had nothing to do with the new problem. The new diagnosis was that I had a bad catalytic converter, and it would cost $5,750.25 to repair. I gasped at this. During my conversation with ****** (The Owner), he was very dishonest with me. He would use his infamous line, sorry, the timing is unfortunate for sure but Our conversation ended with him telling me to never contact Ultimate European Repair again. ************* confirmed my worst fears. I was taken for a fool and ripped off by ****** (The Owner) and Ultimate European Repair. I fell for the never-ending repair car scam and now I am $2,958.33 in debt. This is so embarrassing. To add insult to injury my car is still in disrepair.****** (The Owner) advertises that they are a little different than most shops. He is right because they are more dishonest and expensive than a dealership. I wish to God I had gotten a second opinion. I was better off going to the dealership. At least they stand behind their work. The judgement from the justice of the peace was not in my favor. The decision does not exonerate ****** (The Owner) and Ultimate European Repair from the fact that they are corrupt, unethical, and immoral. As embarrassing and humiliating as this has been, I was able to muster enough courage to share my abysmal experience and post this review. If I can save anybody from being ripped off, then it was worth it. On his most recent response to my concerns, ****** (The Owner) threatened me with a baseless and frivolous lawsuit. He is willing to go to extreme measures to intimidate and silence me. This speaks volumes to the self-centered individual ****** is.Ultimate European Repair Response

A quick ****** of *********************** shows no less than 5 court cases you've filed this year. The facts speak for themselves, it appears you are a bit of a career con artist. When a judge in a court of law decides a case, it does in fact exonerate the party. As a reminder:When you first saw us in summer 2020, it was for a problem a discount chain shop misdiagnosed, we properly repaired, and you declined the rest of neglected repairs your vehicle needed against professional advice.A year and ****** miles later, you see us with vehicle not being serviced since, needing the same repairs, and even worse condition with new issues. Upon receiving, it was severely misfiring and smoking from the exhaust. *** fault code data showed this vehicle was driven over **** miles with a Check engine light & misfires. You authorized proceeding with the first failed component, were made aware other damage and additional failed components were very likely & expected.Proper and correct repairs were completed. ********** proved that to which the judge agreed. Then we were able to continue additional testing and found second failed components as expected and visual evidence was submitted to prove it that the court agreed with.Visual evidence that the dealership after us missed again.******, In your course of complete neglect of your vehicle and blaming every shop that touches it instead, Ultimate European Repair was twice the only shop to correctly assess and repair your vehicle. While integrity, respect, and customer ********************** are our highest priorities. They are in that order. And you have taken advantage of our integrity and completely disrespected the ******************* whom have shown you the utmost respect and professionalism. And for that, we will not stand.Through the turmoil of this farfetched court case quickly decided in our favor, and post case slandering company and employees under your own name and aliases such as P.C. on ************** Medadieous on ******* you have far from mustered courage. Rather you have exuded cowardice:Courage is the choice to do the right thing and the hard thing when you are afraid or stand to suffer from it. To take responsibility for your choices and actions.Cowardice is the choice to do the wrong thing and the easy thing at cost to others so that you can avoid facing responsibility yourself.Ultimate European Repair Response

This customer brought her *** to ********************** with a concern of running rough and producing **** smoke. When received, we found that in addition, the Check Engine Light was on and several other error lights and codes were displayed by the cars diagnostic system. We had worked on this vehicle approximately 1 year earlier and had notified the customer of multiple oil leaks which she chose not to repair at that time. It was clear from the computer diagnostics as well as from a visual inspection that this vehicle had been badly neglected and driven a significant distance when it should have been taken in for service. Driven over **** miles with a Check Engine light. Our technician pointed out all the various error codes and warning lights to the customer and she asked us to focus only on repairing the cause of the Check Engine Light. We made it clear that we could only fix one problem at a time and that there was no guarantee the first fix would solve all underlying issues, in fact we suspected more repairs would be necessary. Our initial diagnosis was to repair the crankcase ventilation valve and hoses. We also suggested replacing the valve cover gasket that had been leaking oil onto the exhaust manifold (this was a suggested repair she had declined the previous year). The customer agreed to these ***********************, and they were made. Unfortunately, once the Check Engine Light was cleared, it soon came back on. With the crankcase ventilation valve now repaired, we were able to test further, and we learned that the catalytic converters had also failed. This was likely caused by the prolonged period of driving the vehicle with a faulty crankcase ventilation valve and with oil dripping on the exhaust manifold. We understand the customer was disappointed that not all problems with the car were immediately apparent and that she was frustrated with the cost. Unfortunately, that is what happens when an owner ignores multiple warnings and continues to drive a malfunctioning vehicle. We do stand by the diagnosis and repair work of our technicians. We believe the fact that the court did as well, attests to their expertise. We advise all drivers not to ignore their Check Engine Light and other warnings or neglect necessary ************************************************ when suggested. This customers troubles likely could have been avoided, or significantly reduced, had she properly maintained the vehicle and brought it in for service at the first sign of failure. Finally, the customer mentions that she filed a case against us in Justice Court. We provided the court with our notes and diagnostic results and the court found in our favor.Ultimate European Repair looks forward to providing excellent service to you and your vehicles.
