***** ****** ******* installed a new thermostat 2 years ago. The last two winters I notticed that the heat pump was not working properly since they installed the new thermostat. I had talked with Hunter at ***** ****** last summer about electric bill for heating being higher than normal but he stated that heat pumps take more electric. This past winter the unit would run for 15-20 seconds and turn off and then start again a minute later. Since ***** ****** didn't seem interested in looking into this so I had another AC company come out to check the unit. The AC unit checked out fine but when they looked at the thermostat all the settings and toggles were set wrong. The main one was set for Conventional GAS. My unit is ELECTRIC. I have called ***** ****** twice and have sent 3 emails withh a copy of the other company's bill attached that states the error in programing the thermostate. . I have talked to *** at ***** ******** whose response is they are sooo busy but they will get back to me. I am still waiting. The charge to adjust the settings on the thermostat was $90.00. My electric bill was running around $50 more a month as compared to my neighbors for the months of Jan through March. I would appreciate any help you can give in regards to obtaining a refund of the $90 and compensation for the high electric bill because of the wrong programing of the thermostat, Please see the attached correspondence with ***** ******.Customer response

Complaint 19932881. I have heard from ***** ****** Heating and Air. I received a refund check yesterday so the matter is closed. Thank you so much for helping me. ********* *******
