I went there for Oil change and a repair for a squeaking sound coming when I take a turn.I asked them to look into it and asked them to provide me the repair estimate.They ended up estimating $4,500/- for the repair.Then I took my car to ************* center, they fixed the problem for $535/- and also they said what ever are suggested by BRAKEmax is not necessary at all.

Here are the basics: I arrived at 2:30 and explained that I needed new brakes and an oil change. I also indicated I needed it completed by 5:15 as I needed to pick up my daughter from after-school care by 5:30. When I pointedly asked if the work could be completed by 5:15, ***** answered emphatically "absolutely!"Around 3:30, I was given a quote for over $800. I NEED BRAKES, and I told ***** to please go ahead with the work.I'd like to mention that each time I was inside the shop, ***** spoke poorly of his staff and managers. He complained loudly quite a bit. Just my opinion, but it was so unprofessional.Around 4:30, I was concerned and asked for an update on my car. ***** indicated they had only completed the oil change and were waiting for parts from another store to arrive. I reiterated that I needed to leave by 5:15 and ***** seemed shocked and stated he didn't remember that conversation and that my car wouldn't be done at that time.I had to make arrangements for my daughter to stay late with her program.At around 5:20, one of the guys came in and let ***** know the parts were incorrect. ***** then asked me to come back first thing tomorrow. I replied that I would not be returning. ***** then went into the shop, screamed at someone to STOP MAKING F*CKING MISTAKES!! (So loud it echoed through the shop and customer area), and stormed back into the office.EDITED TO ADD - I took my car elsewhere for brakes and the charge was $275. NOT $800. Scammers, liars, and cheats. Twice they've done shoddy work. Do not take your car to them unless you want more problems.Review from Robert B

Total rip off they broke my drive train while trying to fix my brakes ($2,000) and charged another *****. They have had my car for 3wks and I've been taking Uber to get to work I'm running out of cash to get to work my job is at jeopardy and I need help.Review from April D

This would have been a comedy of errors but when it comes to vehicles errors are never funny.The van first had an oil change and axle fixed. As oil flooded out of car I called a tad panicked. I still ultimately had to drive it them. I understood before looking at it why they didn't want to take responsibility but they did leave me confused. I asked about what it could be how that could happen so close to the oil change and not be issue. I left confused but was told they would call me that day to tell me the issue. They did not. In fact no one ever called me. To their credit they fixed it however nothing was communicated to me so my car sat there until I called to find out what the issue and fix were. It upset me to find out they fixed it that day and it had been their fault but decided since it was fixed, I would be grateful and move on.I then had an issue a day or so later with the shifter. I asked them to check it out and make sure it didn't happen because of previous oil issue. I also asked for them to see why oil was still leaking out because I still had drops. Turns they don't clean up the oil so that's just the remnants of the spill. They provided me helpful cleaning tips to get it out of cement in my driveway. He said they don't clean up the car usually so it may continue for a little while.They assured me the oil issue was not the reason the shifter was now failing. They also assured me there would be better communication about the timeline to get my car fixed. That Friday I was told a couple of days. Tuesday I get a call saying the part went to the airport and isn't this so funny. He pointed out it was too funny more than once. Wednesday I pick up the van, pay and drive away. Two minutes go by and I realize the previously fully functioning drawers don't work. So I turned around. I did not stay because I was told it would take more than an hour.I just hope nothing else they did fails so I don't have to go back.
