I purchased a distance learner package for medical coding from LS Coding and Education LLC in the 2nd week of November 2021 for over $2,500. The first week of December, their website was erased with no accessibility and staff was unable to provide any resolution or estimated date of website revival. This continued on for almost 5 weeks and I was on a specific training timeline so I purchased another course from a different provider. On December 27th, 2021, I e-mailed and requested a refund of my tuition due to the inability to use it and due to the school having no real time frame for the revival of the materials. The e-mail was acknowledged, as ****** ***** contacted me by phone and attempted to dissuade me from leaving L S Coding and LLC and to "just be patient" with her. I followed this up by providing a certified Letter of Demand, for which I have proof of being signed for and delivered on 1/6/22. The Letter of Demand placed a date of resolution as 1/28/22 by the close of the business day, with the resolution being a refund in the amount of $1,802. (Tuition minus the books and exam fees, which I did keep and use.) On 1/20/22, the CEO/founder **** ********, called me and spoke with me at length, stating that she would ensure the refund of $1,802 was issued to me appropriately. On 1/28/22, I still had not received further communication or been issued a refund. That same date, I spoke to the CEO of this establishment, **** ********, the instructor/partner/executive, ****** *****, and ******'s business partner, ***** *****. ****** was incredibly difficult and initiated a back and forth text exchange wherein she stated multiple times that she would (a) complete my refund on the evening of 1/28/22 and (b) provide me with an e-mail confirmation that the refund had been processed. Nothing has been received as of 1/29/22.Customer response

Good Morning:
I notified the business that I had filed this complaint on 1/29/22. The business chose to issue a refund after they had been notified. The resolution has been satisfied.
Thank you,
****** ******

I purchased a distance learning medical coding package from this school in the 2nd week of November 2021. In the 1st week of December, their website was erased and completely inaccessible with no known date of restoration, which continued for over a month. I e-mailed and requested a refund on December 27th, 2021 and this request was acknowledged. I sent a certified Letter of Demand to their office instructor, ****** *****, asking her to resolve the issue by providing me a refund of $1,802 by 1/28/22 at the close of the business day. I received no objections from any party. It was signed for and received at their office on 1/6/22. On 1/20/22, the school's owner, **** ********, called me on the phone and told me I would be receiving the refund as indicated in my letter. On the evening of 1/28/22, I still had not received the refund and I contacted the owner, **** ********, who stated it was being worked on and I would have it done that evening. The instructor, ****** *****, then called me and was very nasty to me, telling me she would appreciate patience because she'd been sick and that she was going to complete the refund that evening. By 8:30PM EST, I had still not received the refund, so I reached out to ******, who would not take my calls and then engaged me in an unpleasant back-and-forth over text wherein the ultimate resolution was that she would complete the refund and send me an e-mail by the end of the night. I also called the owner, **** ********, and ******'s business partner, Trish, who both attempted to contact ****** for resolution. It is Saturday, 1/29/22, and I do not have a refund or an e-mail from ****** or anyone else at the school regarding the refund.Customer response
