I've been requesting a refund for the uncompleted Invisalign treatment services and dental insurance overpayment to Signature Smiles office since June of 2022. The total amount paid by me for the Invisalign treatment services was $4,070, calculated with an estimated $1,100 of insurance coverage, totaling to a cost of $5,170 for a full Invisalign treatment service. The total amount my dental insurance paid to their office for the Invisalign treatment services was $1,497.50, which means an overpayment by my dental insurance to their office of $397.50. In addition, I am requesting additional reimbursement since the full treatment was not completed at their office, which would had included further check-ups, adjustments, aligners, scans, removal of Invisalign retention attachments, and teeth shaping, to complete my full treatment. The completion of my Invisalign treatment services were performed at Parker Orthodontics in WA state. Follow up calls and emails had been made and sent to Signature Smiles office to discuss my refund request, however I they had not been responsive until 09/26/2022, to which they responded with the following statement "Sorry, that you are having a hard time contacting the office. I am sending you copy's of Everything we did and at this point you are all settled with the office. there is no refund to you or your Insurance. it was your choice to go some were els for your retainers. In your record it shows a refinement that we ordered and you never came back to continue the refinement. At this point their is no refund due to you." I am requesting the refund of the insurance overpayment of $397.50, in addition to the cost that I have paid out of pocket for finishing my Invisalign treatment in WA, which is a total of $698.00, which not only has it included the retainers, but also further adjustments, aligners, scans, removal of retention attachments, and teeth shaping. Dentist office told me they where a in network provider. They did some work on a tooth and proceded to charge me out of network cost. They Over charged me 500 dollars. I talked to the financial manager and he told me it was a mistake and he would fix it. He did not fix it and told me they where not going to refund my money.
