3/12/22 I purchased a couch for $1,176.33 with my debit card. I was told that it will be delivered within 2 weeks. Was never delivered. I tried calling to cancel/get a refund and thwy told me no. I went through my bank to get thw money back. I was temporarily refunded. *****, the manager then told my bank I am allowed a store credit and the money was debited again. I have tried for months to use my credit but no one will answer calls or messages. Spoke with Lloyd, the owner who says that the business is closed and bankrupt. I am just trying to figure out how to get my money back, since the credit is not an option for a closed business.Initial Complaint

I ordered 1376.11 on 5/4/22. They took the payment then. The furniture was to come in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I started calling. Everything same guy answered said he was sorry he just came back to work having covid and will call me back. Never calls back. I continue to call for 2 months now. Had a male coworker call same story we will call you tomorrow. I called Friday and was told same thing. I said no that's all you say. He then said oak there's a situation going on we don't have it. The owner can do store credit. I said absolutely not because of how unprofessional they were. He says we'll I don't know what the owner will do. So just call tomorrowInitial Complaint

I went into Complete Furniture on 08/26/2022, looked thru catalogs & purchased a dining room set (7 piece). I charged $921.33 including delivery fee, to my Discover It credit card. ***** told me that he would call to set up delivery. The set was delivered on 09/04/2021. After checking it over, I noticed some damage & defects, so I contacted *****, & sent pictures to him. ***** had his crew pick the set up. After a few phone calls/texts, ***** said he'd order another set. ***** told me the set would be delivered at the beginning of December, 2021. I texted & called regarding the status of the set, & was now being told it would be January, 2022. After January, 2022, I was told that it was discontinued, & to look online at some other businesses to find another set that I liked & that he currently orders from them. He stated that the prices would be higher more than likely. After checking online, I didn't find anything I liked, so I sent ***** a text that I didn't find anything I liked, & was requesting a full refund. That's when ***** responded that they don't do refunds. My receipts do not have on them anywhere that there are no refunds. I disputed the charge with my credit card company, so I received a temporary credit, until they investigated it. The credit was recently reversed because ***** sent something stating the company doesn't give refunds, only store credits. After speaking to the credit card company, & letting them know that this was not divulged to me in any way, at anytime, & that I had already tried to work with the merchant to resolve the issue, before this policy came up. I didn't find anything I liked & no longer trust the merchant, due to his response to my credit card company. He stated to them that there were only mild imperfections, & that is not true. I believe that he hasn't been truthful about the "no refund" policy, because not only is it not on my receipts, it's not posted in the store (when I was there) & I do not have a dining set.
