** ****** ***** ****** was swindled into buying a $5173.03 couch from Relax the back location 10308 NE 10th Street Bellevue WA 98004 She was 70 years old and having dementia related issues due to her blood pressure medication and severe spike in blood sugar related to diabetes. She passed away on October 14th 2021 while in a ketoacidosis coma onset by diabetes which caused pancreatitis. As executor of the estate I, ***** ******, ******* son contacted Relax the back, I placed a stop on the order with a representative named ****** who said they will refund her deposit of $2586.00 as soon as they sell the couch. We contacted Relax the back again today 12-29-21, they stated the couch has still not arrived to their location, and they gave us yet again every excuse as to why they still haven't refunded the down payment $2586.00 on a couch purchased by my mother not in sound mind, must have been an easy sale. The order was stopped by me on that couch back in October and nearly three months later they still haven't refunded the $2586.00. I will pursue and contact Jesse with consumer investigations with Kiro 7, please let me know if there is anything you can do to help. My mother passed away and we desperately need this money that we are long overdue to be refunded, to pay for my mother's end of life bills.
