The company was suppose to re-landscape the side yard so there wouldn’t be any standing water after a major rain. Apparently they didn’t do what they were paid to do, I still have standing water after it rained. They basically just added rocks to the yard. I also had to rearrange the rocks that was suppose to catch the water off the roof line, it was only hitting the very edge of the catch area. (That was an easy fix by me). I tried reaching out to the company and they basically never got back with me. Not appreciated.Business response

We contracted a large job with Desert Designs Landscape (DDL) in 2/2021 and terminated the contract in 9/2021. The reasons for termination included poor work quality, failure to complete punchlist items, damage to our property and, ultimately, misappropriating money. In 4/2021, Mr. McPheron, DDL's owner, called us to complain that material prices were skyrocketing and asked us for $7,938.81 for travertine that was to be used in a FUTURE phase of work. DDL wanted to lock in a lower material price and store the travertine at our house until the appropriate phase of work. Although we had a fixed-price contract with DDL and had no obligation to give them money at that time, we felt empathy for Mr. McPheron's situation and, to our great detriment, gave him the money. Unfortunately, we have never seen the materials or received a refund of our money despite many, many requests and demands. We would like BBB help with return of our money, which we believe stolen at this point.
