Nova home loans in ******* ****** they did not take My health And my age in Guiding me correctly, but they instead they financed my home with Me Five years in a row when I had a horrible concussion and I didn't know What I was doing .I was in my late 70s.I'm now seventy nine years old and I woke up this year to my concussion and I was shocked What I did with there Help, They act like they're helping you , but they're not giving you the proper Information of what you should do if you have a brain Injury You should not Not be We financing your house 4 5 years in a row. I just came out of the concussion this year.I'm 79 years old and I can't stop crying.I feel like i've been robbed. I told them every time I went Went into the *********** I still was not able to read all the paperwork and understand And that I still didn't feel good. I feel I was robbed and now I owe a whole lot on my house when I started in ninetein2019 I only owed nine thousand on my house . Now I owe A hundred and twenty eight thousand dollars on my house, Can you?Imagine waking up and finding out what you did and then these People Pretended to help you. I thought they were being kind to me and helping me, but they weren't. They were making money and they didn't care 1 bit about me. They knew I couldn't read the information. They would just say we'll sign here. It's okay. We'll take care of you. Yeah, they took care of me real well, h*** no.NOVA Home Loans

Worst company ever! My husband had heart surgery a year ago and we got behind by 2 month on our mortgage. We reached out to see if we could do a forbearance. They told us we were not far enough behind to get help and to just pay extra on our mortgage to get caught up. Flash forward to *** of this year. I went to make a payment and they locked my account and said the only way they would except any payments at this time was if we paid the past due amount plus out current amount. We couldnt come up with the money right then so they recommended we apply for help with their loss mitigation team. During this time we were not allowed to make any payments. We called them regularly for updates and was assured multiple times that everything would me fine. We filled out the paperwork exactly how they asked only using my information since its just me on the loan. Then we got a denial letter. I called back and asked why, they said I could no longer afford my home loan which made no sense, I now make more then I did when I got the loan. They said I could appeal and put in my wifes income which is what they told me NOT to do the first time. So I re did the packet. This whole time they still wouldnt let us make any payments putting us further behind. Now almost $10,000 They then called us and offered us a 6 month repayment plan of an additional $800 per month. We verbally accepted. Then we got a letter to verify that it would be a 12 month repayment plan. The company does not communicate with each other or with its clients. It put us in a horrible situation. If we would have been offered a repayment plan for the 2 months we were behind it ($3600) we would have been so much better off. I own being behind by the 2 months. But they forced us into the other 3. When I mentioned this, they tried to cover themselves by having an in house ins.rep call us and he even admitted our case fell through the cracks. And the plan should have been set up/offered at closing 3 years prior.NOVA Home Loans

Terrible loan officer. He was a bully, disrespectful, rude and racist and discriminatory and treated me as if I was stupid Im a woman with a Hispanic last name my husband is Caucasian white. Spoke to my husband differently than me this loan officer was very unprofessional nosey and was telling my husband lies regarding my spending. Its none of his business I dont recommend Nova Home Loans. This experience was just awful DONT EVER WANT TO PURCHASE A HOME. NOT WORTH BEING HUMILIATEDNOVA Home Loans

When I moved here, I was referred to the ******* team at Nova. Upon incorrectly recording my property tax parcel ID with the county in my docs, my tax payments ended up going to the incorrect property. This led to me receiving a delinquent notice from the county, which prompted interest and fees, and a large amount of research on my part, due to a lack of assistance provided by *** and ******. I can only assume that they were no longer interested in helping me if it wasn't profitable. I was told whenever I called that they would get back to me, but I have yet to be reached. I eventually figured out that the property tax parcel ID had been incorrectly recorded with the county, which necessitated correcting my documentation, both with the county, and with my mortgage holder, which by that time was LoanCare. After updating my info with LoanCare, I received a notification in the mail that my mortgage was going to be held once again by Nova Home Loans. Upon switching back to Nova Home Loans, imagine my surprise to see I had received another delinquent notice from the county. After I made some phone calls to obtain info about my situation, I was told that everything was up to date, and my escrow balance was sufficient, all my info was correct, but that Nova simply hadn't made the payment to Pima county to cover my taxes. This info was provided to me at the beginning of June, when I was prompted to submit a photo of the delinquent notice to show the original tax amount, plus interest due to late payment. I submitted this info online and called back a few days later on June 10th, to find out that my property tax payment was scheduled to be paid, and that I should see the payment process in 15 days. I checked the Nova site and it showed the payment had been made on Jun 23rd, but did not include the interest due to late payment. Then I checked the county website and saw that my tax balance was still unpaid. I ended up having to make my tax payment out of pocket AGAIN.NOVA Home Loans

THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!! First off I have never had a company not understand that people actually make their payments before they are due and mess the payments up as much as they do. I got my loan at the end of November 2021 they didnt service their own payments and used LoanCare. In March 2022 they took over servicing their own payments but since January my payments have been applied incorrectly. Ive tried talking to Nova since March for resolution and have yet to receive one. Instead of being treated with respect as a customer who pays their bills early I get debt collection calls even though my account clearly is noted for months about the misapplication of my payments. My credit suffers, I get charged late fees, harassment from creditor, I spend countless hours trying to resolve, and they cant resolve an issue timely. If the interest rates were what I got in November you bet your **** I would go to another company in a heartbeat.NOVA Home Loans

Its strange when ***** was unable to reach us to schedule the appraisal, we responded as quickly as possible to facilitate his request. When I called ***** now three times, hes not available. I was assured that he would return my last call in just a few minutes, but never happened.What did happen is *********** put out a denial/withdrawal of loan after 61 days. We vacated the home three days before the closing, assuming that ***** was actually doing his job, guess we were incorrect in our thinking. Seems that ************ is so self important that he is unable or unwilling to return phone calls. If I was looking for a mortgage, he would be the last person I would turn to, and I will let everyone I come in contact with, to go with anyone else, as they will care more than ************ and his team.I dont recommend him or anyone on his team, hey are too uncaring to be concerned, we pay their salaries..Lest they forget.NOVA Home Loans

We do regret that **************** found this experience with NOVA Home Loans to be dissatisfactory. However, **************** was not a client of NOVA Home Loans or *****************. NOVAs client was the potential buyer of Mr. ******* property. NOVAs obligation was to fulfill our clients needs and to adhere to industry standards of practice and due diligence. While doing so, NOVA determined that we were not able to approve a loan for our client. At NOVA Home Loans, our Core Values are to provide the communities we serve with the best combination of rate, service, and fees, and we take great pride in these core values.To address Mr. ******* concern regarding the appraisal, Loan Officers are not involved in the scheduling of appraisals, rather, they are scheduled and done directly by an external appraisal company. Our Loan Officer did not reach out to ****************, the seller, as this is outside of his scope of work. According to our records, an appraisal was timely performed on ******************** property, and the Appraisal Report was submitted to us with an Effective Date of Appraisal of April 19, 2022. Based on ******************** additional concerns, NOVA has completed its research into the sellers complaint, and unfortunately, we must concur that our Loan Officer failed to handle the transaction in an acceptable manner. We will be providing additional training and coaching for ************ as the standard of care we expect from our employees was not met in this case.
