I was initially quoted $250 for a small move including only a few small items and that was the going quote from several movers. I paid the deposit of $150 and on move in day they tried to change the quote to $900! This is for a move for a one bedroom with only a bed, desk, and few boxes. They then refund to refund my deposit, and the manager was incredibly rude. The mover ended up getting very confrontational as well.Initial Complaint

05/27/2022 we employed Tuscon moving service to move us from Sierra Vista, AZ to SunCity AZ. As we were unpacking we started to notice we were missing many of our personal belongings. Some were not replaceable. They also lost screws and things to put together bed headboards and screws to put together mirrors that attached to dressers. I have talked to Ben the owner about three times to resolve where our belongings might be. Last call was on Thursday of last week. No response.

I have spoken to the customer on a few occasions and tried to resolve it but it’s not clear if those items were left in the old house or still packed in the new home since they were not found on the trucks after the job was completed
I’m more than happy to discuss a resolution but we haven’t heard any suggestions as to what would work for her based on the guidelines and what would be considered fair
she can respond here or text back whenever she’s ready and we would work on a solution

If you did the walk through at the end you should have indicated if something was left behind
they crew took everything you mentioned
if you think something was left behind why didn’t you tell them before they left?

we didn’t do a final walk through and Tuscon Moving knew we didn’t. We left before they were done cause we didn’t want to drive in darkness. Our friends went to the house the other day and saw one of our belongings the new owners were using. They didn’t bring all of the things in the laundry room either and the realtor verified that. It was not all cleaning I would say they nproducts. The company is not being honest. I would recommend they go get our belongings and return it to us or pay us $2000.00 in damages.
