Dear Ms. ******,
Thank you for taking the time to reach out with your concerns regarding the preliminary notice you received in the mail and for taking the time to call our office for clarification. I am pleased that I was able to explain the preliminary notice process and answer your questions during our phone conversation this morning. You can also find additional information about our company's procedures regarding preliminary notices on the terms and conditions page which is the last page on your signed contract. I have also resent the email that was sent on July 19th to further explain this process. Please know that we value your business and preliminary notices are filed without prejudice on all projects that exceed 15 days in duration. We make every attempt to clarify this process on our contracts, but we also understand that these types of documents can be alarming and we do understand your concern. Again, a preliminary notice is NOT a lien on your property; it is an element of protection for contractors in the State of Arizona so that a lien may be filed in the unlikely event of non-payment. We value your business and welcome any additional questions you may have.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 17607641, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
