Paint Kings was hired by the HOA to paint the exterior of the community (118ish homes) in January of 2022. We were contracted directly with the HOA and as part of that contract we were not giving touch up paint to the individual homeowners. It was presented to the HOA as an option for us to purchase and supply paint to the individual homeowners, but they decided the cost was too great and that homeowners would be responsible for purchasing any extra paint they wanted to have on hand. The colors and products are with the HOA and with the local Dunn Edwards distributer a few miles from the subdivision. Paint Kings has also gone above and beyond to offer multiple periods for touch ups during the 2 year warranty period. Our warranty is based on handling areas missed during the painting process and areas where the paint has failed. We don't cover water damage, physical damage, repairs to the home after painting is completed, acts of god, etc. Gerri has requested we be at her home during everyone of these periods to handle her legitimate warranty items and to handle items not covered under our warranty/contract. Up until now we have handled everything she has asked without question, but now we've had to put our foot down on supplying her with paint the HOA didn't purchase, 2 years after the job was completed. We appreciate the work with the HOA, the HOA management company and Paint Project Board running the project. They have all been wonderful to work with.Customer response

There was a 2 year warranty. My home was one of the last ones painted.- my request/complaint was submitted within the 2 years.
They state they did not give paint to individual homeowners. I can provide names of homeowners who DID get paint from them.
They say they handled every request from me. As per the emails/calls listed, it is obvious they DID NOT.
It is also obvious that either Tre Smith fabricated in his responses to Melinda Ford or she did...Which one?
