      Hello,

My name is Mike Davis, Marketing Director Northwest Exterminating.  I've attached the original termite agreement signed by Mr. Warren, the multiple attempts to contact revolved around the following:

      1) Trying to see if we can rectify the issues regarding a cancel request

      2) The equipment installed is leased and therefore we try and collect the stations, we still pay the supplier Corteva Agriscience for the bait stations (highlighted on attachment).

      3) Northwest Exterminating provides pest control for the HOA Cadden Management, that artificially increased attempts to contact because the HOA was reaching out to Mr. Warren simultaneously, and the two companies became viewed as one.

At this time, we have removed all contact information for Mr. Warren from our system, canceled all services and we have paid the non-recovery fees with Corteva Agriscience.

      Thank you,

      Mike Dais

I contracted with Northwest on June 30th, 2023 (******* * *********for Rodent removal and prevention on my property and paid the required deposit of $199.00. They were supposed to put an electronic device in my attic to detect rodent activity and traps to capture rodents, bait outside my home and inspect the home for entrances that needed to be sealed. Since June 30th I've ad 4 scheduled appointments for servicemen to complete the required services. One never showed up or called and 3 others were ill equipped to perform the required entrance into my attic through the attic opening which is in my 12 foot ceiling. They came with 8 foot Step ladders which would not enable them to safely approach and enter the attic. This despite my giving specific information at the time of arranging the appointments that they must have a twelve foot ladder that gets them into the opening to the attic. This company is not capable of safely fulfilling the needs of the contract I signed and agreed to. The need to come and retrieve their bait stations outside my home and cancel our contract and refund $199.00 I paid.

My wife and I purchased a house in December 2021. The house came with a termite warranty through Northwest Exterminating going through October 8, 2023. I have sent all the paperwork including the signed documents and paid invoices that show this to be accurate. In addition, I have the paperwork for an inspection that was performed December 3, 2021 that clearly states it was covered under warranty and there was no charge for the visit. Northwest Exterminating is now claiming that the warranty expired October 2021- employees have stated that the company was purchased and the new ownership is not honoring the warranties. They have sent me several letters claiming that I have to pay $139 to renew the warranty and that "to avoid collection and possible legal proceedings by an outside agency, we are requesting payment in full within ten days of the date of this letter." I am requesting a billing adjustment and statement in writing acknowledging their error and commitment to honor the warranty, as written.

I would like to close complaint 17513785. The business has responded to me and resolved my issues. The warranty was restored to the terms the contract stated and updated paperwork was issued. Thank you,

We leave Arizona for the summers and hired Northwest to take care of weeds. The spray with a pre emergent and killer each month. They need a key to get at our back yard and the tech forgot it one month and didn't spray. The next month our patio was full of weeds. I asked that they pull the weeds and they said they wouldn't do that, only spray. It's listed in their service agreement that they will use "Physical and chemical methods to stop weeds". They would not honor their contract. I had to hire someone else to finish the job I paid them for. Rip off, calling my attention to some small print.

We did attempt prior to the complaint to settle Mr. ********** concerns by sending out our weed technician to spot treat weeds for no additional charge, and reached out in response to this complaint on 10/21/2021.  When we reached Mr. ******** we let him know that given the situation we would refund him the amount of his last service and asked him for the receipt for the cost of having the weeds removed by another company to offer to pay that but Mr. ******** cut off the associate before being able to finish in response to the offer and told us that he doesn’t feel that is a sufficient remedy to his concern and told us that he wanted a complete refund of everything he’s paid to Northwest Exterminating and that he did not want us on his property again. When we tried to continue the conversation Mr. ******** hung up and ended the call. To honor his requests we proceeded to cancel all of his services with us and sent him an email stating that we would respect his wishes for us not to be on his property and that we would refund all of the money he had paid to us for his weeds services.
