Patio Pools in ****** ***** Arizona sent a technician named **** to our home three times over the past 40 days to look at and fix our pool pump. On the first visit he came out and diagnosed the pump needed a seal kit. We paid him $89.49 on 1 April 2024 for this visit. On the second visit he took the pump apart and found the seal kit would not fit over a shaft on the impeller so he said they had to order another shaft part. He put the pump back together and left. On the 3rd visit (17 April 2024) he brought the seal kit and the shaft for the impeller to fix the leaking pump. He took the pump apart, installed the seal kit and the extra part, turned it on he said it ran for about 10 minutes and then quit running. He said he heard a pop or odd noise when it stopped running. Our pump has been running fine over the years but since it was leaking the pressure was not enough to do its job which is why **** diagnosed that a seal kit was required. I texted the scheduler named Tiffany in the ****** ***** office the same day letting her know we were unhappy and that she needed to speak with management in ****** to come back out and either fix the pump or provide a new one at their cost. So far Tiffany has ignored my texts and when I called today I got a message saying they were unable to answer their phone. So, today I called the ****** office (************) and was told that their Customer Service Rep named Jeanette would call me back. So far they have not called me back to discuss. Patio Pools needs to rectify this situation since it was them who obviously "BROKE" the pump. I hope the BBB can contact them about this. After that my next step if Patio Pools does fix our pump (after speaking with our Attorney) is to file a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors so they can investigate this situation. I will give them until the end of this week, 26 April to provide a reasonable solution and then I will file my ROC complaint.
