I was a resident at Sandstone Tucson on E. Milber St. recently after being discharged from Banner UMC hospital. I had personal belongings there, including razor humidifier, a rapid charger and a heavy duty cord for Apple phone as well as clothing. When I was a Banner, I tried to attempt to contact, the Director of nursing assistant Director of nursing and the social worker at Sandstone without success. I left numerous messages there. I had two people try to pick up my belongings without success. I’ve been told that they leave them in the room unless you weren’t coming back I couldn’t even notify them that I was not coming back as I’ve been in the hospital Where they sent me when I had some issues at Sandstone. I’m seeking my personal belongings or compensation for them. I have been diligent in trying to obtain them via phone or somebody picking them up without success. As I said, I almost contacted them on a daily basis since being hospitalized on May 5 and subsequently being placed at Haven of saguaro valley where I’m getting the physical therapy that I need. I was not getting any physical therapy while at Sandstone. Banner did not want to send me back there. I personally have not been able to get to sandstone to obtain my belongings. Again, I would like my belongings or compensation for them. The number of calls I’ve made to numerous people with sandstone have not been returned. This is unfortunate, and certainly not a best practice that reflects badly upon sandstone. Staff from the haven have even gone over there trying to attempt to find and bring my belongings. I was told that they would be safe. Either in the room will be packaged and put in storage. Where they are, I do not know. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.
