On 2/18/14, I paid $4,300.40 for Alan Bradley Roofing (ABR) to replace an old shingle roof which included the sunroom and involved a rooftop AC unit. The following problems have occurred since 2/18/14: 1) Summer of 2014: Hallway Cabinetry Leak Immediately after the new roof was completed, we had a tremendous amount of water leaking into our hallway cabinetry. ABR discovered that the AC drainage pipe was disconnected, therefore it was draining into the house! The issue was corrected and leakage stopped. 2) 3/27/17: Sunroom Leak This started when we noticed water damage and mold on the walls and ceiling. Contacted ABR numerous times before Adam finally came on 4/5/17 to inspect but could not find the source of the leak. On 4/21/17, ABR attempted to resolve the problem by sealing around the AC unit, the soil pipe and drip edge, etc. Because ABR stated that the leak could be from the AC unit itself, I consulted with two different AC companies but they did not find anything wrong with the unit or its placement. Thereafter, the mold was treated and damaged walls and ceiling replaced. 3) 4/15/24: Sunroom Leak (same location as in 2017) We started seeing extensive water damage and mold again in the exact same location as the previous leak in 2017. Again, I have to call ABR numerous times before Adam came out on 4/22/24 for an inspection and finally made a minor "repair" on 5/15/24. On 6/15/24, my husband removed the damaged walls, ceiling and insulation only to discover a missing piece of wood that left a big hole on the roof. This tells us that ABR failed to perform the job correctly and properly in 2014 when they were hired to install the new roof. The missing piece of wood with the big hole is likely where the leak comes from. We have been dealing with repeated roof leaks for 10 years since ABR installed our new roof and it has been extremely frustrating dealing with them. We would like for ABR to return and correct this immediately prior to monsoon.Business response

Our inspector Adam Denson visited the job site on 6/25/24 preformed a water test in the area of concern and was unable to produce any leaking. It was determined that no leak repairs were needed. We have agreed to return to the job site and install a L-metal flashing in a small area under the blind eve. This work will be done the week of July 7th.Customer response

We are still waiting for a heavy rain to prove that the roof does not leak as Mr Adam insists. Thus far we have not receive any heavy rain. His water test using a hose running down our roof is not indicative of our heavy monsoon rain with heavy wind.Initial Complaint

(Under the then owner's name ***** ****). After I moved in a workman doing stucco repairs recommended that I have the roof inspected with particular attention at the scupper drains. No specific issue was cited. I have placed five calls over a six-to-eight-week period and left voice messages. I have had no response from the company and no inspection date was forth coming. \ I would like Alan Bradley roofing to inspect the roof and make any necessary repairs under the warranty prior to monsoon season.
