I scheduled an appointment for January 16th, *************************** getting a quote for a surgical procedure. I put down a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 as I booked surgery for November 24th, 2020. The financial agreement I signed states " Cancellation of your surgery date will result in forfeiture of your deposit. Cancellation within 1 week of surgery will result in the forfeiture of your deposit and 50% of your surgical fees. 24 hour cancellations will result in forfeiture of the entire surgical fee". As required, I was tested for COVID-19 on November 17th,2020 and tested POSITIVE. They cancelled my surgery. I then re-visited the clinic in contacted the surgical center next on March 2021, spoke with MA *******************************, as I decided to post-pone hold off on rescheduling the surgery until the pandemic subsided. ******* asked if I wanted to have my $1,000.00 deposit refunded back to me but I felt confident leaving my deposit as that was reassurance that I would go through with the procedure. not change my mind.On January 2022, I called ******* asking for a refund as I was having personal problems. She returned my call a few days later and left a voicemail, advising me that unfortunately the $1,000.00 would not be refunded back to me as too much time had passed. I assumed that meant I was unable to get a cash refund, but that the credit would be available for other services. So I was fine with that. On February 2nd I called to schedule an appointment for a filler consultation thinking I's be able to use my $1, 000 credit. She said that MA ******* advised her I had NO credit. I then spoke with OM **** who said he would look into this matter and see if he's be able to do anything. 2 weeks have passed and no call from Maxwell Aesthetics. Unprofessional and unacceptable.
