I was looking to have my back porch screened in he showed me pictures he had pulled up of my house and showed me what it would look like when the work was completed. I gave him my deposit of 1,789.86 and never heard back from him after several calls and e-mails I went to the address listed for the company it was a home. When I rang the doorbell the lady kept saying please go away. I said I need to speak to the owner of AZ fortress and she said again go away. So I’m out of my money and screened in porch.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! **** ******* is a A Con Artist. Even thou I saw negative reviews about him online, I still gave him business. I believe in second chance. I gave him a big project for which I gave him partial deposit of $6000 on 7/5/2022. He promised me to deliver the products for my business in 8-9 weeks. Before getting the deposit, he would answer on a first ring but after getting the deposit, he started ignoring my calls. He was supposed to install my screens on Sep 15, 2022. It is Nov now and he doesn't pickup my calls. He has committed FRAUD yet again. I can afford to take him to court. I will make his life so miserable that he would think twice before screwing another human being.

On Saturday December 3rd, 2022 **** *******, general manager for the company Arizona Fortress Screens, came to our to give us a bid to build a screened in porch on our existing outdoor patio. He performed measurements, showed us samples of the screen material and aluminum framing. He quoted a price of $6796.76 for the entire project. We signed a contract with **** to perform the work and gave him a personal check for half the amount of the project which he required to do the job, which was $3398.38 dollars. **** said he would call us Monday, December 5th, to put us on the schedule and also send us a copy of the contract. He said he was scheduling about 2 weeks out. He did not call us so I gave it several days and called him on Thursday, December 8th. He did not answer so I left a voicemail and he did call me back with in a few minutes. I told him I noticed he cashed our check and wanted to know when he would schedule our project. He said he would call back late that afternoon when he had his schedule. He said that the project would likely be done before Christmas. He never called so I called again the following morning around 9 am, (Friday) and left another message asking him to call me. He did not call so my husband called him and was straight to the point that he needed to call us. He did not call, so I texted him that evening expressing our concerns and that we were becoming very concerned since he was not contacting us. Later that evening I sent a text that we wanted him to refund our money as we had lost our trust in him. He did contact by text the following day saying he was baffled at the escalation of our decision and all his workers were sick with covid and if we would be a little more reasonable and understanding everything would work out. Meantime, we found out by reviews written about him that he was unlicensed and described as a con man and did poor work. He promised to call us and we have not heard from him and he has our money.

October 3, 2022 I contacted Arizona Fortress screens. The general manager, Mark Johnson came to my house and gave me a price for two screens. I paid him in full at the time. He said he would have them installed by the end of the following week. I left him a few messages to call me back as I had some questions but did not hear from him. When he did text to install he was on time. He made a mess out of the modifications and told me not to worry he would make it look better. When he finished I asked if a couple things were really supposed to be like that and he said yes.. The work was very sloppy and incomplete. The frames do not come together to make them bug/insect proof like he promised. The doors do not close tight and the caulking is poorly done. He then told me I owed him another $950.00 I wrote him a check as it was apparent there was no use talking to him anymore. After he left I put a stop payment on the check and left him a message his work was unsatisfactory. He texted me and I told him according to the agreement he showed me and left with me he was paid in full and I was very unhappy. I told him he could take his product back and give me a refund or leave it and I would try to fix it.

NOT LICENSED OR BONDED! **** ******* the “owner” is an unethical person. He led me to believe he was a licensed contractor. I gave him a $3,000. deposit and was told I would receive a copy later that day. It wasn’t until 2 months later he finally gave me a copy. (He did not sign the contract.) A this point I found out he was not licensed. He tried to use material he had and not what I ordered or requested per the contract. Wrong screen color, framed out wrong door size and ordered the wrong door. He work was so shoddy and sub par that I finally told him to stop and refund my deposit. He refused, and has kept my $3,000. deposit. After one week with very little progress and numerous mistakes I told him to stop the job and just give me my deposit back. **** took 45% of the of the total price of the job which basically was my full deposit. I said if you don’t do the right thing in this situation, I will give you a bad review. He didn’t seem to care. It was my money he was after not pride in his work or business. I’m out $3,000. and no screened in porch. He tried to get away with putting in brown color screen when we ordered bronze. His metal for the frame is scratched and used. He framed in the wrong frame for the doors. It wasn’t until I asked him for a copy of the contract (that I signed in May) did he admit to his mistakes. Another shoddy thing he does is piece together 2X2X10.
