I purchased a vehicle on October 19,2021 from American Motor Group. On October 21,2021 I took the vehicle back to the dealership with a transmission diagnosis (attached doc). American Motor Group agreed to repair the transmission. On October 29, 2021 American Motor group informed me that the vehicle was ready to be picked up and transmission issue had been “fixed”. I took the vehicle for a second diagnosis with a different mechanic to confirm the issue had been fixed. The second diagnosis states no leak is present but transmission shifts to overdrive, RPM increases, and shifts in and out of overdrive (attached doc). I took the vehicle back to American Motor Group for the second time (second repair attempt). The vehicle was in the possession of American Motor Group from October 29,2021 to November 10,2021. American Motor Group claims “nothing is wrong with the transmission”. I took it back for a 3rd diagnosis which states the following: “transmission going in and out of lock up, torque converter is failing” further detail on diagnosis document will be attached. I informed Genaro via email. I sent Genaro a written settlement via email, requesting my money back. Per Arizona Law, I gave to dealership two attempts to fix the vehicle. American Motor Group failed to repair the vehicle’s transmission which is under Arizona 15 day 500 mile warranty. I am under so much distress that I had negotiate my refund with American Motor Group. Total cash amount paid for the vehicle $13,575. I negotiated my reimbursement for 13,075 (-500). I received a text message from Genaro owner of American Motor Group stating the following: “ I’m willing to give your money back -$500 for all the repairs that I’ve done to it, but you got to give me till the December 31 to get your money back as I’m gonna put it on the lot for sale.” The vehicle is currently in his possession at the dealership. This text message was received today on November 22, 2021. He is delaying my refund for an entire month.

******* purchased a 1999 Jeep Wrangler on October 19, 2021 and we address couple of items that got fixed prior to her taking possession of the vehicle 1. Replaced the rear shocks 2. fixed ac, because it was blowing hot air. The following day 10/20/2021 she called and claim that the ac was not working and told her to bring the vehicle in so we can get the ac fixed, ******* brought the vehicle in on the 20th of october 2021 and advise that we will take the vehicle to a certified mechanic shop to get it fixed. ******* at this point brought to my attention that there was something with the transmission as she had taken it to Aamco transmission shop and they told her that the transmission gasket was leaking and I told her that I would have the mechanic shop take a look at the transmission as well. On October 21, 2021 we took the 1999 Jeep Wrangler to Discount Muffler to have them check the a/c and the transmission. Discount Muiffler had the vehicle from 10/22/2021 till 10/28/2021 and this whole time we were in communication with *******, we picked up the 1999 Jeep on 10/28/2021 and called ******* to come and pick up her vehicle. When ******* picked up the 1999 Jeep Wrangler we went over the items that were fixed, 1. A/C, they removed and replaced ac hose and complete charge of freon 2. Transmission oil pan removed and replaced with new gasket and added new transmission fluids.

3.Mechanic test drove the vehicle and he mentioned, the transmission is a 3 is working as design, the high RPM'S revving is due to it being a 4 cylinder and oversized tires.

******* took possession of the vehicle and after couple days she brought the vehicle back stating that the transmission is no good and that it was failing, she brought a inspection order from Automotive Specialists that confirms that there is no oil leaks but claims there was burning smell, which it could be from the transmission fluid. I told ******* that I would take the Jeep back to Discount Muffler as they guaranteed the work, she dropped of the Jeep and took it back to Discount Muffler 11/20/2021 they ran more tests Transmission is working as its supposed to, shifting through all 3 gears. We advise ******* to go on a test drive with the mechanic from Discount Muffler but she was not able to. We brought back the Jeep to the lot and advise ******* that the vehicle is working fine, she stated that she wanted her money back advise we have done everything on our end and that vehicles runs great. Advise ******* that the vehicle its a 1999 vehicle for off-road use not 75 miles an hour on the freeway. ******* said she would contact an attorney to pursue legally ( I did get an email from her Attorney stating ******* wanted her money back and to contact her) which I did and offer to take the 1999 Jeep to another Transmission shop so we can resolve this. I even offer her to warranty her transmission for additional 4 mo's and she refused. My last attempt was to offer to sell the 1999 Jeep for her and she also refused.

******* took possession of the 1999 Jeep Wrangler on 11/21/2021 around 5:52pm.

American Motor Group attempted to “fix”, “repair”, or “replace” transmission after the second failed attempt. Attached are documents confirming the issue with the transmission.
