On 05/17/23 my AC units 2 out of 3 quit working I called one hr air ******************************* this was on a sun) a guy came out and said 2 of my units were bad I needed new ones I told him being it's a Sunday ill call my home ins comp Monday then another one of his guts showed up they tell me they can install new ones n just show my ins Co paperwork I said no I'm sure they will want to verify then a 3rd member shows up I stated same. They said " all I had to do is show my ins co paperwork again I said no finally I relented under much duress as I had company in town my home was 120 inside I call my ins *********** will not cover this expense so then I post onto fb on ************* and a past ****************************************************************** that one of their employees who was a mutual friend of ours tells him when they blew out the lines of my 2 units they both worked grr they just wanted to make a huge sale and got me for $25k plus. There's more to this but feel I need to talk w someone within the BBB bottom line is this company is beyond shady and needs to b held accountable! I even tried to give them a out by saying just give me the 2 units at cost but there refused to work w me. But they don't know I know that these 2 people have told me my units were ok n just needed to b blown out. I'm hoping w BBB help this matter cam be rectified but I've triedBusiness response

We have tried numerous times to speak with this customer in regards to this. We went to customers home because all 3 of her units were not working. We were able to get one of the units up and working however 2 of the units needed numerous amounts of parts including a compressor to work. She had friends and family over and asked how much it would be to replace them since they were older systems and didn't want to wait for all the parts to come in. She also asked if She put in new units would they be more efficient as her electric bill was over 700$ monthly. She stated she needed cool air as fast as possible and wanted to know pricing for new systems.
We gave her 2 prices one for a standard 14 SEER and one for ***** SEER units. She opted to go with the higher efficiency units. She also asked about financing. We gave her financing options and she picked her option through ally lending.
We did installation and had her and her family/friends cooling. Once she was cooling we didn't hear from her until she got her finance paperwork. She wasn't happy about the interest rate and how much she was going to pay over the life of the loan and asked if we could do anything. At this point everything was finished so we couldn't do much for her. She asked if she could get some money back. We obviously denied and she said she was going through money problems. She has called us numerous times and I have told her there's nothing else we can do. Seems to me she had family friends over and wanted to get new units and she picked high efficiency units at that when everyone was there and then after everything was done had buyers remorse. Unfortunately she decided to go with the better option and now she regrets it. We explained everything she spoke to financing and signed everything and now she's cooling and wasn't a discount.
