******** took my truck to them to have a $ ***** rusted leaking rear end seal replaced.I questioned the owner if he understood the torque procedure for re torquing the yoke after they replace seal .He assures me they never how to do the job . I asked them to change the universal joints at the same time So after a couple days I get the truck back and the new seal is leaking. I got under the truck to check it out ,then I noticed the universal joint was installed backwards so the grease ****** was not accessible. He agreed to get the truck back into shop and fix the universal and re do the seal .The owner said the old seal was so ***** that this caused the second seal to leak . Well I had a bad feeling about this place from that moment on . A shop that didnt know to clean up the bearing surfaces before installing a new part . I was very concerned about them having to re torque the yoke again re using the crush sleeve inside the reared .My mechanic in ****** told me this is a critical process and needs to be put back to the exact torque in inch pounds that it took to spin over the rear end when he first took it apart . The owner said he understood and was going to do the job himself. Well I get the truck back and it just didnt feel right . After the first trip for a couple hours on the highway the rear end starts to howl . Went back to this shop and he told me to bring it back next week for a road test and that he did the work himself and they had done nothing wrong. Well after thinking how bad I felt with the work they had done on my truck .Having to redo thing three times and now I have a bigger problem that they created. Theres no way I could go back to this shop for them to tell me BS . I took it to dealership with qualified GM mechanics they did an inspection with a full written report, pictures of the damages . They called me into shop to demonstrate how this happened from wrong torque procedures . $3000.00 to fix. STAY CLEAR OF THIS SHOP
