The issue is with Valentin Guzman Farmers Insurance agency in ****, *******. What happened is that I had Farmers Insurance for auto insurance coverage, but their annual premium was going up excessively, so I decided to call Farmers Insurance and cancel their policy on 12/7/2023. I called the Valentin Guzman Farmers Insurance office in ****, ** and a gentleman with the name of ******************* answered my call. I told him I was calling to cancel my policy with their Farmers Insurance office due to my premium going excessively high. I assume ************ cancelled my policy on his computer or laptop, so I told him to please send me an email confirming that I talked to him and cancelled my policy with Farmers. I did get an email not sure if the next day or 2 days after, but I did not open it. I was with the assumption that was the email I had requested from ********************** sometime between 12/20/23 to 12/24/23, I checked my ********** account online and noticed a withdrawal from my personal checking account of $361.74 & I said to myself how can Farmers still be doing auto pay deductions out of my personal checking account when I called them on 12/7/23 to cancel my policy. So I went ahead and called the Valentin Guzman Farmers Insurance office & talked to ************ and asked him what was the deal and why did they deduct the $361.74 out of my personal checking account. He gave me an explanation that was not explained to me at the time I talked to him on 12/7/23. That being said, I told him that they basically took it upon themselves to take that money out of my account without my authorizaton and when I had already cancelled the policy on 12/7/23. To me that is theft. He said I would get my money reimbursed in 5-7 business days from this 2nd call which might have been on 12/21/23. I checked my bank account and did not see that money being transferred back, but on 12/27/23, I did receive an email that they would be sending me a check for the $361.74. But they had the wrong address.
