10/26 I got billed and charged $78.75 but nobody showed up at all. I have cameras and 2 different camera services recording 24/7 and nobody showed up at all. Yet I got charged. Also happened the previous month. Nobody on any of my cameras that record all day. November I got an invoice for service, yet never got a service notice days in advance at all. I actually have no text messages for the whole month of November from Youngs. Their web site and ******** says "no contracts " yet is trying to keep charging for service and I got a message saying I owe for the whole year, but with no contract and many texts and emails saying I want to cancel, Youngs pest control keeps saying they won't cancel the service. 2 months I got charged with absolutely no service at all. I have the 24 hour video proving no services were rendered at all. Yet I was charged ****** for 2 months.Business response

Hello this is the very first email we recieved from the BBB, anyhow this issue with client has already been resolved, the assigned technician had been suspended and the money had been refunded to client, even tho the technician show on his route with gps tracking that he did do the service and the customer did not answer door, also customer cameras are oitttle babay monitors, it's no wonder he didn't see the technician. Either way we still suspended the assigned technician and refunded the client.#NiteNiteTermitesInitial Complaint

Called pest company to come out and do a treatment. The tech did that. He did not leave an invoice. When I checked my credit card bill, they had charged $414. I called them and was told the charge should have been $114. The extra $300 was a mistake and would be refunded. It was never refunded. Because we were in transition moving, I did not press the issue. When we returned to **** in August, I again attempted to recover the money. They issued a check mailed to the wrong address. Then they mailed a check with improper spelling. Then they issued a check that had stop payment when I tried to cash it. After that they just gave me run around and stopped answering my calls, texts, and emails.Business response

Did not authorize service,ask for estimate only Showed up i wasn't home wife told him it's estimate only and he said .he said he was here to do service. I called there office and told them i didn't ok service and they took advantage of my 80 year old wife. And i won't be paying there bill we went back and forth with text massage one said not to pay .then they turned me over to collectionsBusiness response

The customer called for an estimate over the phone, in which one was provided, he accepted and confirmed the appointment, in which we also notified the client 3 days before and 1 day before the appointent reminders both email and text, also on the day of his service we sent him notification that his service tech was on the way, Upon arrival, the service tech met with the client, Mrs. ****** and she walked the service tech around the property and explained all of their bug problems and needs, and before starting the service she confirmed with her husband to start the service, so the service tech started the service, and spent nearly two hours to complete, after service was competed, Mrs. ****** called her husband to make payment, and he said to just bill them, so that's what we did. After sending g him payment reminders for two weeks, he then calls complaining that the price was to high, we explained that that's what he agreed to and we had already applied discounts, and that the best that we can do was give him an additional -$50 off, he agreed so we devices the invoice and sent it to him, *** thing happened, he decided not to pay, so after several attempts by email, calls and text, and final warnings, to be sent to collections, he chose to ignore us, so we handed this over to our collection. And legal department, he then tried going or followed our service tech home and tried to threaten him, we had to tell him that such activity and co duct is not appreciated and that we will have to call the authorities, we also explained to him that he isn't any longer in our system and he is not our client, that he would have to speak to the legal firm and not to be assault g our service tech and going onto his property, we gave this client plenty of opportunity to pay us before it came to this, we are disgusted to have been ripped off by a ***** and thief, this customer is a liar and a con artist. Like several others, I am positive that debt collection agency ****************** is involved in scamming and fraudulent activities with YOUNGS PEST CONTROL. I started receiving calls from their office more than a year ago. They called me every 2 weeks for months, They were calling me to collect a debt of $2500 for some Pest Control services from YOUNG PEST CONTROL located in ****, **,I rejected this claim from day one and tried to explain that I had never used their service for my home. It is not even possible because I live in the *******, ** area and YOUNG PEST CONTROL business is located in ****, **. Why would I call someone in ******* for Pest Control Services? I have no clue who used their services and they scammed me and put $2500 charges under my name. I also believe it is a joint collaborated scam between YOUNG PEST CONTROL and ******************.How come I never received a bill from YOUNG PEST CONTROL for any charges since 4/28/2021 and all of a sudden I am receiving calls from collection agency? It is unbelievable!!!When I tried to reach YOUNGS PEST CONTROL to understand and clarify this issue, they would not listen to me because they simply knew what they have done was illegal.Initial Complaint

Have had pest control company for a little over a year in new home. On November 3rd pest control technician said we have termites and that we need treatment. Company came next day on November 4th and 5th to start treatment and charged our credit card on file for monthly service $3,000 without a prior authorization or quote on work to be done. Work has not been completed before credit card was charged. There has been no itemized receipt of cost of product or labor and we feel that this was intentional. We did not get a opportunity to get a 2nd opinion or price compare with other companies as they came early next morning and started work without first confirming with me or my wife of cost.we feel it was deliberately avoided. I have also filed complaints with the *** and the ************************** as this is a form of fraudBusiness response

On Monday Nov 21st, i recieved my firts notification of a complaint made by *************** in whom o do not know of anyhow according to this complaint he states he feels that he was scammed, well i would loke to apologize to whomever **************** is, suppoingly her husband. but the customer i dealt with is *************************** whom has been a long time customer of ours, we have become very good friends over the years, we have provided her monthly services for more than 5years, she recently moved into a new home about over a year ago, well this month during her montly treatment for pest control, i pointed out to her that her ho e was i fested with termites and that this month i could not do a free spot treatment, in which i ja e been doing prevously, but such an infestation requires a full termite post treatment, during that time i asked her if she would like a quote and *** said yes and therefore i gave her one, and also explained to her that we no longer offer any other ********* treatments but only the best and its very expesive, and we do t use any generic termitiecides so explained to her the differences of all the types of termicides and that we will also mix the product in front of her before treatments, it which i do with all customers we tell them we do this because of honesty & integerity, i gave her the proposal after an hour and half explaining full details of the treatment. She signed the contract, in which i will provide a copy of and also a cooy of the service invoice afyer treatment was completed, *************************** was well aware of the treatemt and its price, also we did not charge her card we do not uave access to her credit card, but *** has enrolled in autopay, and knows she is on autopay, also while signing the invoice our software remjnds the customer of this and they have to pish a tab to accept the autopay onfile. Alos if **************** is the husband well he was there as well be fore the teeatment started i also exained to him about the method of treatment and that we dont use generic products and only the higheat quality products in the industry. He was very impressed by it, also i have video with him he took of me while mixi g the product. I find this dispute very strange as *************************** has been a very lontime custo
wr and friend, she knows very well she could jave called me before the treatment and told me she couldnt afford it or even called our company to rwport the transaction as not acceptable or change of mind, whatever the reason they could have called us first before going the the bureu, ***** calling the Bureu on Nov 21st when i recieved my notification afyer my conversation with the rep, I then callwd *************************** to speak to her abiut this, she answerednthe phone and told me she was mot aware of this dispute and the went on to tell me that she would call me back that she was at work. Anyhow i never got a call back from her and ahe dont answer my calls any longer as if i have been blocked, very strange. I want to send our aplogies and would like to soeak *************************** about this issue, so we can work something out. Thank you.
