On 6-4-2023 I called First American Home Warranty (****) with whom I have a current contract with: #***********. I reported a leak in my drain near my kitchen. They assigned Blue Tech Plumbing. The company is to respond within 24 hrs. which they did. ****** called and set up an appointment for 6-8-2023 between 5-6:00PM. ****** showed up after 6:00PM. I described where I thought the leaking drain to be and also explained the drain line is very old cast iron or galvanized pipe and may have other leaks, but I couldnt tell.****** knelt down near an access point near the kitchen and had me run the water. He said he could see the leak. I asked if he had a camera he could run through the drain lie to check for other leaks and he said yes. He said I would need to get the underside of my house treated for spiders before he could repair/replace the drain line. He recommended *********************. He said to call him after the house had been treated and he could do the *********** it had been treated.Subsequently, I called **** and asked who would cover the treatment of my house as it is not stated in my contract. I also checked Blue Techs rating on YELP. They have 2.5 stars/5stars. I asked if they could assign someone else. I was told no by ****. They have abandoned other jobs through the various home warranty companies.On 6-17-2023 I had my house treated by ****************. I also treated under the house myself with several pesticides. The approximate cost to me thus far is $358.88 excluding tax, service call $85.00, contract price $578.00/yr.On 6-18-2023 I called Blue Tech and informed them that my house was treated, to please call and make arrangements to come repair/replace my drain line. I received no call.On 6-20-2023 I called **** and told them that Blue Tech was no longer returning my calls. They said they would contact Blue Tech by email and have them contact me. Company damaged my house and haven't fixed the issue, company was sent by our warranty, after so many cancelled appointments they charged the warranty 500 dollars for no fix l, the company wants to charged us another 397 dollars to fix the issue but keeps canceling appointments, and when they do come they tell us they can find the issue and proceed to reschedule and never show up, super unprofessional company, me and my wife just want the job fixed. This company keeps you in loopholes and does not fox the issue.
